This warm and welcoming home provides the highest standard of nursing care within a specially adapted care environment, housed in an attractive period building. The home accommodates Residents who require Residential Care and Residents who require General NursingCare.

Staff are selected for their compassion, as well as specialist care and nursing skills, delivering person-centered care for those that need specialist dedicated care.

The resident chef prepares a daily menu of nutritious and well-balanced food to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.

I am extremely happy here and very much at home. There is a culture of kindness at this home which extends to all aspects of living here. It would be nice to have a bit more variety in the food - a bit less English. Also, it would be nice to have access to a minibus for trips instead of taxis.
I very
much hope to live out the rest of my happy days here.

My mum's been here since April and she's been happy from the beginning. She always receives excellent and friendly care from the staff who go out of their way to be supportive, both the domiciliary and nursing staff carry out their duties with good humour and a number have formed close relationships
with my mum, which is wonderful.
The accommodation is of a very high standard and the management is excellent. They always ensure that I am fully informed of any developments.
I feel very lucky that my mum has found such a good home.

I have been very pleased with the care I have received at Aabletone. My worry is the staff are put among patients before being properly trained. There are times when they think it is not compulsory to make a bed. This is fine by me but there are times when I worry about patients who are not able to
make their wishes known. I am sure there are staff that would like to give that little extra care but they have not got the time as they are rushed.

With regards to your concerns about staff not being trained properly, we always ensure that new starters work on shadow shifts enabling experienced staff to give them further hands-on training. With regards to the bedding, it is within our policies to ensure that beds are made each day and we employ the required level of domestic staff to facilitate this. We will most definitely be looking into this.
