Both my grandparents are here and it is wonderful this is their second care home and the staff are just fantastic, kind and caring!
I have full trust that they are both getting the best care possible here and it is a huge relief to all the family!

My mum had been in Hazelwood Gardens Nursing Home for the past 8 months. The care she has received in that time has been amazing not just the day to day running of the home but the attention to detail of how my mum has been cared for and looked after. Also, my dad who’s visited my mum every day they
were also incredibly kind to him too. Taking them outside for fresh air when the weather was nice, having movie nights on a Friday night, just extra special touches that really touched our hearts. Painting my mum's nails to make her feel good. Generally looking her in a very caring way. We as a family, also noticed how incredibly kind the manager and all her staff are to all the other residents too. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I have recommended Hazelwood Gardens to several people. Thank you so much to the manager and all your lovely staff.

The staff were so good to my mother. They always made sure she was comfortable. Nobody wants to put anybody in a care home. But when they are looked after with love and respect, it makes you feel better. Nothing was to much trouble. Thank you to the team for all the help and support looking after mum.

My mum has been resident here for the past seven months and has received really great care - a member of my family has visited here every day so I really do feel we have a knowledgeable account of everyday life in here. The staff are so good and kind to Mum often going above and beyond our expectations
and unlike many care homes, they retain regular staff which makes such a difference when it's your home. The owner being a medical person is very "hands-on" and I do believe this business is 'care' rather than 'profit' driven and I think that's quite unique in the care home world. I have regularly visited other elderly in-laws in several other nursing homes over the last five years and Hazelwood Gardens is by far the best and certainly not the most expensive!

After careful consideration, we chose Hazlewood Gardens Nursing Home as it felt the most appropriate to cater for Lilian's needs, and was close enough to home for us to visit almost daily. We were given a choice of rooms and picked a lovely light dual aspect room with ensuite. The staff were always
patient and happy to help. The food was of a good standard we and always found Lilian eating something when we visited.
The home has some lovely spaces to sit from the communal room, large light conservatory and huge day room plus lovely outside space so finding somewhere to have quite chat was easy.
Lilian was very happy here and well looked after during her stay.
Many thanks to Pauline the home manager who was also on hand to have a chat and put us at ease, nothing seemed like to much trouble for either her or her staff.
