Situated in the popular town of Clevedon, this purpose-built modern home provides warm and welcoming accommodation with comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens. All bedrooms are well-decorated and residents are welcome to personalise their surroundings.

Food is homemade and can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room or in the privacy of residents’ own bedrooms. All loved ones are made to feel welcome when visiting.

The activities programme is organised so that each residents’ tastes and abilities are accounted for. There are arts and crafts classes and a gardening club, as well as seasonally themed monthly events.

I am delighted with the care my husband is receiving in the Elm View Care Home. The staff are always helpful, cheerful, professional and make it a very happy place. The standard of nursing and care is excellent. The food is varied and delicious and they will make whatever is required. The room is pleasant
and fresh and kept very clean.

My mum stayed at Elm View for 2 weeks respite care. She was happy there and said she would feel happy to stay another time. She felt nothing was too much trouble for the staff and liked the fact that they quickly remembered her name. Her medication was always correct and the nurses seemed very helpful.
I think my mum would have liked to be introduced to some of the other residents to provide more social company. This may have been easier if her stay had been longer.

I like breakfast in bed. I like the garden and the bird visitors. I enjoy the food. Friendly and helpful staff.

Mum would like more time to chat with staff - always feels they are too busy. She's very keen not to be too demanding.
More choice at supper time - small sandwiches, some tomato grapes, fruit salad, cheese on toast, tea cake, toast and jam.
Mum's room is very small, the only place for a chair is in
front of the wardrobe which makes access to her clothes very difficult. When the lift is not working - upstairs residents feel isolated.

The staff and management are wonderful and caring. Really had only one concerning incident which was discussed when the head of the home returned. I was assured by her it would not happen again. Communication between staff could be improved with relatives so feedback is more regular and systematic.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant and the lounge is welcoming. The rooms are bright, airy and well maintained. We feel confident that our relative is well cared for.

The best nursing home ever stayed in for my wife. She is very happy here, having got used to the caring staff who have worked very hard - most doing everything possible to make her days happy and nights comfortable. For me, after 20 years as a carer, I am happy with the knowledge she is being looked
after, safe and able to accept her new life with a smile. For me, I now have time for myself and enjoy our visiting times together - without tension.

I was nervous about moving into the home, however, when I arrived I was given a very warm welcome by the staff. The nurses, caring staff, kitchen staff and cleaning staff gave me and my physical difficulties great consideration, day and night. The range of homecooked food was excellent and very flexible
to my needs. Thank you very much for taking care of me so well and willingly. I would definitely recommend this home for all the reasons above.

I stayed for a fortnight while my wife/sole carer was undergoing serious major surgery. The home kindly offered me a place and was flexible in accommodating me when the operation was rescheduled at short notice. I was cared for well, and my Parkinsons needs were met. My care took place in my own room.
I was quarantined, so unable to join other residents or take advantage of events/activities. Most staff were enthusiastic, professional and helpful in understanding my care needs. Management was approachable and welcoming. Some agency staff were not as reassuring, however, which appeared to originate from communication issues. Regular staff were aware of this and worked well to mitigate this.

Elm View is a caring, friendly home where my mum has been looked after very well.
Elm View staff are friendly and very informative. Nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend Elm View to anyone who's looking for a home for a member of their family.

Visited my mother by appointment. Arrived and no notice directing me to the visitors centre. Not clear where that was, having had to go to 2 different places on 3 previous occasions. Finally rang the bell - twice - then phoned after, no response. Turned out reception was in the porch. Covid test completed,
returned after 30 mins and had a good visit.

As a close friend and very regular visitor to your resident, I have always found the staff friendly and helpful and am treated as a relative to my dear friend, who has no children. My friend, in your care, is clearly well cared for and respected. It's always a joy to visit the home.

My mum has been here for approximately four years now, I'm very happy with the care she receives even through difficult times the staff are always smiling. The home is very light and airy with plenty of space, the entertainment that gets laid on is always good. Mum really likes the food as well which
is great.

My husband has extreme needs which are well met at Elm view. Any issues relating to his care that arise from time to time are listened to and swiftly dealt with. He feels confident and secure and wished to thank those carers and other staff who go out of their way to bring him joy. He has every confidence
in the established nursing team who with the others mentioned have given him a life expectancy above what was ever imagined possible. Our thanks to everyone.

I can thoroughly recommend Elm View, it is always clean and tidy when I visit, as is my cousin, and she seems very happy with all of the staff. She is well looked after and we are generally offered a cup of tea and a piece of cake when visiting. I do feel she spends a lot of time on her own in her room,
as she has always been a friendly person and has enjoyed company.
