Our mum has recently been moved to Fairview from hospital now needing 24 hour nursing care, prior to this mum has been a residential care home since 2017
The whole team from manager are outstanding, caring, and very respectful
Mum has settled in great and is receiving the care she deserves

Fairview Court has a welcoming and homely feel. All the staff are brilliant. It is very clean and the facilities and food are excellent. Mum became a resident at the end of August having had a bad experience at her previous care home.
The staff are kind, caring, patient and very welcoming to the residents
and their families. Nothing is too much trouble and we are kept informed about mum's health and any concerns. Mum settled really quickly and we are secure in the knowledge that mum is safe, well looked after and receiving an excellent standard of care and support. At mum's previous home, she was actively discouraged from attempting to walk. Mum found this frustrating and upsetting. Since moving here mum is once again mobile and supported by the staff, who enable her to move freely around the home and has also been receiving physiotherapy. My family feel this is absolutely the best place for mum to be. We can't thank the staff enough for how they look after and care for her.

Our father initially came into Fairview Court for respite in March 2024. This is something which my sister and I both felt very anxious and unsure of our father settling in a care home environment. On our day of arrival, we were welcomed and greeted by a fantastic home manager and team who took their
time with us. Our father is now a permanent resident and is settling in well. Every team member at Fairview Court is kind, caring and compassionate. Making sure our father's needs are met. As we now feel we are part of the Fairview Court Family.

My mother-in-law is 97 years old. She went in for the first time for a week's respite. She was very frightened and had been diagnosed with vascular dementia about two months ago. She had a visitor every day. When we went to pick her up a week later she said the staff were all lovely and couldn't do
enough for her. After a few days, she got used to the routine and she said she wouldn't mind going back if required. I cannot praise all the staff there who helped her settle in.

My sister was admitted to Fairview Court on 2nd of August 2024. I had been to look at the home a couple of days earlier. My own impression of the home was really positive and when my sister arrived she was overwhelmed with the kindness of all staff and the high standard of everything in her room. She
is very happy there and never fails to tell me how well she is being treated. Her partner visits her each day and is always treated with hospitality and kindness. All staff are caring and helpful and the manager always responds promptly to any questions or concerns. Excellent place. Thank you for all that is being done for my sister.

Our mum only lasted one night and was sent by ambulance to an unknown hospital. No chance to even get settled. Don't let your loved one stay here if they have vascular dementia as it seems they are unable to cope with this type of illness. There is hardly anyone around from 6 pm so expect to wait ages
for anyone to answer the door if you are visiting.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that we did not have the opportunity to care for your mum for longer than the 24 hours. We had to do what was best for her as she was medically unwell hence why we called the ambulance. The medical staff also agreed with us that she needed to go back into an acute setting. We have an amazing team that did their best for the short time that we had your mum, we are sorry that she had to go back to the BRI hospital as agreed on the discharge letter that she needed to go back to the BRI if symptoms persisted. She was sent back to the hospital because she complained of chest pain, this is not something we can ignore as you may appreciate. Mum came to Fairview Court in January, initially for respite care. She settled in very well and decided she would like to become a permanent resident there. Without exception, the staff are so caring, friendly and very good at getting to know everyone as an individual so that they can tailor their care
accordingly. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere there, it's a pleasure to visit and when I leave I know I have left mum in very capable hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fairview to anyone who needs residential care.

The home is like a real home, the food is good, very clean and tidy. Carers and nurses are exceptional.
The care and support given to my father in his final months was above and beyond. Every time one of the nurses or carers went into his room his face would light up. They made sure he knew who was
there by being close to him and holding his hand, talking to him in a gentle voice so as not to frighten him. Couldn't have asked for more.

Having never used this kind of service before, but following knee surgery by a friend, it was with some trepidation that I arrived. My arrival was so welcoming. people welcoming and looked after me.
I had my bags unpacked and met some of the staff.
Every aspect of my care was done with professionalism
and friendliness, I thought I might have found the personal care embarrassing but everything was handled professionally and I felt totally at ease.
The food was lovely and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, when I left the night staff stopped by to say goodbye. It was a home-from-home.
Please extend my thanks to everyone concerned with my care.
I cannot recommend your home more highly enough.

The palliative care and compassion my auntie received in the very last stages of her life were second to none. I couldn't have wished for her to have been anywhere else. Everyone involved at a very difficult time were excellent. We couldn't be there as much as we would have liked but always knew she
was in the safest hands. I would never fail to recommend the care home to anyone.

Wasn’t sure about Nan going into care, but seeing the love and care they gave her the first time I went was so reassuring, always welcomed the family any time of the day or night, and nothing was too much trouble.

From the minute I stepped into Fairview - I knew that this would be the place where we would place my mum in her final weeks. The manager was very warm and welcoming and the reassurance relating to the care Mum would receive was outstanding. They definitely did not disappoint.
The care was outstanding
and nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to ensure Mum's needs were met and they did so with such care and compassion. This allowed us as a family to spend quality time with Mum instead of worrying and being her carers, and this was vital for us in Mum's last days.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone who is looking to place a loved one to consider this place as they were nothing short of amazing in every way.

After 6 years of looking after mum due to her dementia, due to safety reasons, I had to take one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. It was time to take mum to a care home. Fairview Court was really kind and understood mum and needs and my need to see mum in a safe enviroment with good and kind
people. I was very reluctant to get mum in a care home, but the manager, seniors and carers have been amazing and so kind and professional that I don't have words to express my gratitude for being so good with mum and trying their best to understand and help her. Little by little, mum is settling, and I am a lot calmer knowing that she will be in safe hands. Thanks so much for your help and support.

My grandmother arrived at Fairview Court in February and received exceptional care throughout her stay. The staff demonstrated unwavering professionalism, genuine compassion, and a true commitment to her well-being. Knowing that my grandmother was in such capable hands brought immense peace of mind
to our family.
The cleanliness of the nursing home was always very good and it was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining the environment for the residents. The kitchen staff also deserve recognition for their varied and tasty menu.
I must highlight the outstanding support provided by the team generally and particularly by the home manager. Her communication and helpful demeanour played a crucial role in choosing Fairview Court for my grandmother, and she was always readily available to address any questions or concerns we had.

Excellent care for both mental and physical well-being. The management and staff are amazing, so friendly, welcoming and kind. The staff genuinely love their job and really do care about the residents. They have so much compassion and while always professional, they also have a personal touch with residents

I was very impressed by the excellent management, professionalism, compassion and care my mother received at Fairview Court. With over 30 years of experience as a qualified nurse and midwife, I have spent the last 20 years in the UK healthcare sector. Holding various roles, including Staff Nurse, Deputy Manager, Regional Manager, and General Manager, gaining extensive expertise in care home management.


I am known for maintaining high occupancy rates, fostering strong team collaboration, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for both residents and staff.
