My father was only here for a short time before he passed. I could not wish for a more friendly and caring place for him to have spent his last days. This s a home that exceeds expectations. Friendly and caring. Thank you.

We have two family members at Fairview, both have had exceptional care, and they have supported the whole family. The home-delivered activities of their life-long hobbies ie, flower arranging, Scottish country dancing. The staff are very patient and kind even with challenging behaviour. Music was the
only way to calm my grandmother down, so they would sing to comfort her. We were very impressed with how the home has dealt with Covid. They initially acted quickly to protect all residents and continue to adopt impressive precautions, which don’t affect the level of care.
It is the end-of-life care for my grandmother, which really blew us away. The home supported us to have plenty of precious time with her before she passed and talked us through everything with great compassion. When we couldn’t be with her, they made sure she was never on her own, sang and chatted to her. Knowing she got this loving care is of great comfort to us. They are able to see the real person behind the Dementia.

The building is like a real home for the residents with a friendly lounge/dining room making the feeling inclusive and the rooms are cosy. The staff are very caring, considerate and warm to all the residents.

My mother has always been treated with dignity and respect. I have built up a rapport with staff and I am always made to feel welcome.
I can tell that there is a genuine desire from staff to make residents' lives enjoyable. I have never had a need to complain, and during this difficult time staff are
going the extra mile to provide care. My mum really enjoys the video chats which brighten her day. All the team pull together and I would like to thank them all. Special thanks to the senior carer, who always brings a smile to my face with our banter!

My mum moved into Fairview Court in January 2020. I was immediately impressed by the staff and the quality of the facilities; more like a hotel. After seeing Mum regularly, lockdown came as a blow but entirely justified by the absence of COVID getting into the home.
The intervening months have been
tough for everyone and sadly Mum doesn’t really understand what is going on in the outside world. Hopefully, the situation will start to improve soon and visiting can resume, but in the meantime, I am comforted and reassured by the care Mum is getting and I can’t thank everybody at Fairview Court enough. I would recommend the home to anyone.

Mum arrived at Fairview Court in July after having several falls at home and a long hospital stay, unfortunately, she was very confused and suffering from delirium; Mum also has Alzheimer’s.
As a family, we were very apprehensive and worried about Mum going into a home especially as it meant being
separated from Dad.
All this was going on during the midst of Covid too which added even more pressure as obviously visiting has been very difficult, however, all the care staff, nurses and management team have been extremely helpful and sympathetic to our needs.
Fairview Court have kept us updated and inform us of Mum's daily activities, needs and request. We have daily contact with Mum via video calls and she seems to have settled in well and always looks clean and tidy.
We are looking forward to being able to visit Mum inside the home when obviously the Covid restrictions are lifted. In the meantime, we can’t thank Fairview Court enough.

My mum moved to Fairview in February 2020, she has Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. She has settled in very well. The staff team are welcoming, warm and friendly. The home is always spotless. The staff are amazing with my mum and tune into her sense of fun, they are warm, caring and affectionate to
her which is so important during this difficult time with Covid 19 restrictions in place.
The manager has worked tirelessly during the pandemic to keep in contact with relatives to ensure residents are kept safe, balancing their needs against risks.
We can’t thank the staff enough for all their continued commitment and caring approach.

If you want your loved one to receive exceptional care with staff that treat the resident as their own family this is the place to let them reside. My Mum was in this home for only 7 weeks, but the care she received was second to none. She was treated with respect, dignity, care and had some fun in
the last few weeks of her life, particularly as she went in three days prior to lockdown due to the Coronavirus and we could not visit. They had several phone calls a day from our family, including video calls and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the residents always come first. On one of the walls, it says "The residents here do not live in your workplace, you work in their home". I think this sums them up beautifully. I call them the Fairview Court Family, as that is what they are to the people that live there. I will be eternally grateful for the time and attention they gave my Mum and us as a family at the end of her life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My father moved in late January 2020. We found viewing and moving in very swift and very efficient. Even during the viewing all the staff we met treated us and made us feel welcome. We feel that due to the care and attention of the staff my father has settled in well. We feel confident that he is being
looked after very well. We are looking forward to the improvements over the next 18 months as the decor and facilities are looking a bit tired and dated. We would highly recommend Fairview and the staff are a credit.

My mum moved in nearly 2 and a half years ago. I was very apprehensive as she had been moved several times previously, the staff nurses, in-fact all the staff treated Mum with the utmost respect, dignity and love that I couldn't imagine. She soon settled in, it's such a wonderful relief and feeling
each time I leave knowing she is in a comfortable, caring and compassionate environment. I would definitely recommend this care home.

Everyone is so kind and friendly - including kitchen staff, laundry staff and carers. The atmosphere is spotless and smells fresh. All residents are treated with respect and care and visitors are always welcomed. Afternoons are sometimes long with little happening - perhaps some music could be played
- not just the easy listening programme. All staff are extremely busy.

Without doubt the staff make this care home a wonderful place for my mum. The patience they show, after often a long 12 hour day, is incredible. My sister and I cannot thank them enough, this is from the manager to the care team to the cleaner, the laundry lady, the kitchen staff and the maintenance
staff. All welcome us with a smile and all make time to talk and listen. Well done all of you!

My mother's stay at the Fairview Court nursing home was for the last week of her life. My mother was 89 and had broken her hip a month before her death. Mum was suffering from dementia and the fall had left her even more confused and in extreme pain. We were all very relieved when a place was found
for her locally and we were overwhelmed by the warmth and caring nature of the welcome we all received at Fairview Court. They obviously view their residents highly and were compassionate to the highest level. I felt as though Mum and the rest of her family were amongst friends. The staff treated her with the dignity that we, her family, knew that she deserved. Her frailty was respected and when she died our grieving was met with hugs and genuine caring and comforting. Thank you all so very much.....nothing was too much trouble for you.
You made a very difficult time easier. We are forever in your debt.

With over 30 years of experience as a qualified nurse and midwife, I have spent the last 20 years in the UK healthcare sector. Holding various roles, including Staff Nurse, Deputy Manager, Regional Manager, and General Manager, gaining extensive expertise in care home management.


I am known for maintaining high occupancy rates, fostering strong team collaboration, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for both residents and staff. Currently overseeing the day-to-day operations of Fairview Court Care Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and engaging with the local community.


Passionate about the well-being and safety of residents, I continuously strive to improve and develop the care home’s services. Outside of work, I enjoy walking, travelling, gospel music, and spending time with people.
