The only additional charges are for the hairdresser, chiropodist, newspapers and anything else residents ask for in addition to the normal provision of the home. Escorts to appointments can be provided at cost where staffing allows. If travelling to an appointment in our vehicle there will also be a charge for the driver.
Visitors can visit at any time within reason.
Parking right outside, with additional parking in the Council car park just up the road.

Thank you for such kind words, Angela. I remember on the days that my dog was at Eshcol she would make a beeline for your dad and his biscuit tin! It's such bad luck that your parents' stay was at the height of the epidemic as it did affect outings, visitors, and activities so very much. One of our activity staff accompanies her round the village every day he is on and she is on nodding terms with quite a few of the local villagers. At least with her chair she has no problems with the hills around here but the activity chap has trouble keeping up!

Thank you for your review, Carole. We do understand how upsetting the visits can be and are happy that you find us supportive. Yes, our manager is now back firmly in the Eshcol saddle. In truth, she never left but was in the background for a while when two other managers came and went. She has been here for about 13 years and was always involved in the leadership of the home. I'm coming up to my ten-year Eshcol anniversary so that's a couple of us that have done our Eshcol time.

Wow, Maureen, your kind words have really touched us. We too wish your dad had lived longer as he was so sweet to us all and a pleasure to look after. A truism about having a loved one in a care home is that we, the staff, end up getting to know visiting families almost as well as the resident themselves. We really got to know your mum very well and yes, she and you and your sister became part of the Eshcol family.
