Purpose-built in 1986 and refurbished in 2005, the Home is situated on the outskirts of the historic city of Exeter with views over the city to the Cathedral.

It is within easy reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and the nearby seaside towns. The Home is surrounded by well-maintained gardens, which have disabled access, and a number of seating areas.

Cadogan Court is registered for residential care, nursing and residential dementia support with the dual benefits of individual rooms and shared communal areas.

The level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Please contact the Home for further information.

Our Dad has been at Cadogan Court since February 2017 so approaching 7 months now. It's fair to say that he wasn't over joyed at having to move into a care home but his personal circumstances meant that he had no option. Dad won't come out of his room much (his choice) but the carers who he has made
friends with totally respect his wishes. He is very comfortable and is cared for well. He is allowed to do what he wants and the nursing care that he also requires is excellent. He prefers not to be disturbed within certain hours and all of the staff respect that. He also enjoys a small tipple and is allowed that also! Dad has his own personal effects with his to make him feel more comfortable and also is allowed to keep his mobility scooter with his to maintain some independence although he doesn't use it too much - nonetheless, its there for him which is important to him. All in all, this is a lovely home and doesn't have that odour that many care homes have which is refreshing.

An excellent establishment, clean with no odour. Excellent caring staff with the odd exception. Management particularly the business manager are doing an excellent job and keeping relatives and residents informed of developments in the home. There is resident input of residents in the appointment of
staff and participation in various committees eg. health and safety. Very good entertainment and activities tailored to the needs of the residents.

My mother is cared for in every way with care, respect and professionalism. A room with her own bathroom and able to have her own things and pictures around her. The food is brilliant, and even when necessary to be served in her room, piping hot plates and food. I would thoroughly recommend Cadogan
court.

Since my mum came here a year ago the entire staff have been exemplary. She has been treated kindly, lovingly and with respect at all times. Her room is kept clean and the food is good. I have no worries at all about the care here, every time I come in I am greeted warmly and as part of the community.
Absolutely would recommend.
