I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of this care home. The friendly staff, excellent food and the clean and comfortable surroundings. I find the noise at night with various TV's on different stations and volume, loud.

My auntie has enjoyed excellent care. She is extremely well cared for, is very comfortable and relaxed in her surroundings. The staff are attentive, supportive and give her companionship when required. This is a very caring facility.

The staff are polite and always have a ready smile for the patients and visitors alike. They quickly get on with their never-ending duties treating everyone with respect. I would recommend this nursing home to everyone as the setting is beautiful inside and out. The office staff are particularly helpful
with any queries or worries.

My mother has been in Knappe Cross for approximately 18 months. She has come on leaps and bounds. The management and staff are excellent. They take the time to assist my Mum with all her needs. The home is very clean at all times. It is a credit to the Manager and staff. Thanks.

Mum was very well cared for.
Staff attentive and always cheerful. We, as visitors, were always welcomed and offered a drink.
I was kept updated at all times on Mum's condition. She was always made comfortable over her last few weeks. The reception and treatment we received on her passing was caring
and helpful. We felt Mum was almost in a private hotel.

My mother has been at Knappe Cross for over a year, she has always been treated with great care and kindness. The home is undergoing an update as some of the fixtures and decoration are a little tired - but the care given by staff has never been less than excellent. We call 2 or 3 times a week at different
times of day to see mum - we have always been more than happy.

The manager will always make sure a patient is well when he or she have health problems. He always puts me at ease as I have had serious leg problems and he, along with the help of the carers, nurses as well have made my legs better now I'm having to get my mind better. The manager is a very special
man, he will tackle any problems. He is brilliant, he is one of the best.

My father came into Knappe Cross after spending 12 weeks in hospital. He was very withdrawn, confused and had lost a lot of weight. Since being here he gained weight and has become the happy and sociable person he used to be. I have no doubt that we chose the right home for our father and would recommend

I am very impressed with Knapp Cross Care. It's very well handled. Management are very friendly, caring to all the patients. My wife is well looked after: never too much for the hard-working staff.


The room is lovely, I enjoy coming here. There's always a warm greeting from all the staff and management.

My father has been resident for four years having lost his mobility. My mother who has myeloma joined him in February 2017.
They have received excellent treatment but my mother's health deteriorated recently and all members of staff have been excellent and worked so hard to make them happy and comfortable.
They all went beyond their job remit. I cannot praise them more highly. I would recommend anybody to go to Knappe Cross. The recent change of manager has improved the home even more, if that is possible.
