I cannot praise all the staff highly enough for making our dad's short stay there great. Unfortunately, Dad only lasted several weeks before passing away, but the care, love and respect everybody gave him was amazing. They went above and beyond for Dad and from both myself and my brother, we cannot
thank you enough. Keep up the amazing job you do.

I can’t thank everyone for the kindness and support they showed to my dad in his sort stay there. They went above and beyond with the care they showed. It was a privilege that he spent the last week of his life in such good hands.

My Mother, who was suffering from dementia was cared for here from the time of her stroke to the time she died. The service and care she received during her time there was second to none. The staff were attentive, friendly and were happy to spend time entertaining her. The manager always had time to
talk and we were assured she was getting the best care right up to the end. Living abroad and not being able to visit as much as we would have liked, this brought us great comfort and I would have no problem recommending The Warren to anyone in a similar situation. Thank you.

My mother was very ill when admitted into The Warren nursing home last August. She had spent nine gruelling weeks in hospital and it was such a huge relief to get her into the peaceful, caring environment of the home - her light, comfortable, pretty room with her own personal belongings, the excellent
care she received and the very high level of respect and dignity at all times. The gardener even put pots of flowers and a hanging basket outside Mum's window so she could see them from her bed. Staff were very kind and supportive to us offering cups of tea and time to talk. After nine days my mother peacefully passed away and we, the family, cannot thank you enough for the dedication and care you gave her. I only wish she could have spent longer with you to have been able to sit in the garden, press flowers or listen to music.

Although it has been a year to come to terms with my Mother's passing. I felt I needed to say how wonderful ALL of the staff were to her in her final weeks in there care. She was respected, treated with genuine kindness with dignity and CARE. The staff were wonderful to us as her family, keeping us
updated daily on what they were doing for Mum and how she was even though I visited every day.
She was so comfortable and never left on her own in her room for long without somebody checking on her or administering to her needs I really can't recommend the care and patience that this home provides enough.

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.185)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.185) out of 10 for The Warren Nursing Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.2 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

The Average Rating of 5.000 for The Warren Nursing Home is calculated as follows: ( (11 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 11 Ratings = 5

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.185 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Warren Nursing Home is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 27 registered maximum number of service users is 5.4. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 5.4 = 0.185

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
