Wolborough Court is an exclusive and magnificent residence that has been purpose-built with providing excellent care in mind. With exquisite attention to detail it is truly a beautiful place to live. The home boasts three lounges and two dining rooms all beautifully furnished and with a patio door that leads onto the home's private veranda.

Staff treat residents as they would want their own mother or father to be treated. Socialising is especially important and residents are encouraged to join in on the daily activities, eat well, sleep well and make new friends. The home is very focused on helping its residents to recapture that sparkle for life. The staff too have been with Rose Care Group for quite a while and take pride in not just being a care home but an extended family for all residents.

Longer-term residential care and also day-care are available. In day-care, individuals may choose to join the home during the day but go back to their own home during the night. Shorter visits are also available (for example coming for a couple of hours to join for a cup of tea and a bath) and joining in activities with the home's friendly little family.

The home is good. I came from another one and this is much more how I would imagine life in a care home to be. I'm happy here.
My room is spacious with a lovely view over the fields and we have a very good cook too.

The cook is very good and we can choose what we like if there is something we don't like on the menu. I'm very happy here. We all meet downstairs for coffee in the mornings and have a nice catch-up. It's like home from home and the staff look after us well.

I would be extremely likely to recommend the home to anyone. Whenever I have spoken to people, I always tell them how well and safe they have kept us from the virus. They all work very hard. Staff are all very good and caring and I've had no problems with anyone.

The staff here are friendly, helpful and caring. There always someone around to help out. They’ve done amazing throughout the COVID-19 pandemic on keeping the residents safe and well. Also, the food there smells amazing!!

My Dad has to sadly go into a care home in November, after a long search we decided that this was the right place for him.
He has a complex illness, with this comes unpredictability and all I can say is the home has been fantastic, caring and kind. With lockdown, it has made everything a bit harder
and Dads condition has progressed. But with the updates we get from the home, I feel confident that he’s in the right place.

My father has been living in Wolborough Court for a few years now and is happily content. I have always found the staff courteous and friendly, with a lovely gentle manner with the residents. The care is around the particular needs of each resident, whilst maintaining a secure atmosphere with routine.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wolborough Court to others.

The home welcomed my dad really easily. We were able to personalise his room with him and there was no trouble getting things in or mounted on the walls. The staff are friendly and have gone out of their way to accommodate our requests. For instance, we have sent birthday cards into them with instructions
for Dad to sign for other family members as this isn't something he would cope with himself. The home is purpose-built so there are no awkward conversions and a lift makes it really easy to get Dad downstairs for his meals and socialising. The hallways are wide and the bathrooms generous. Before the lockdown, going for a visit was really relaxed and we were able to make ourselves tea or coffee. Now that we're in lockdown we're still able to see one another through the front door. Arranging these visits has probably made things harder for the staff but they are all still very positive and helpful.

My mother has been a little unwell, but the girls have kept me up to date and do not mind when I ring to check on Mum. With the present restrictions, I am unable to visit so this has been very important. I cannot fault the care my mother receives. Thank you.

I was very uncertain about moving our dad into a care home, but the staff at Wolborough Court were lovely – they're friendly and seem genuinely caring and respectful of the residents, and it was made clear that we could visit and phone at any time. Even in lockdown, the home has made every effort to
keep the contact between residents and family. It's difficult handing over the care for your own father, but it helps knowing that any concerns/queries are welcomed and acted upon. Our dad is happy at Wolborough Court and will, unprompted, tell us he's well looked after. It's a huge relief knowing he's safe and well cared for.
The home itself is clean, light and bright, with cheerful décor.

This home has such a homely feel about it. You can tell that the residents are all treated well and as individuals and cared for to a very high standard of care. I am so pleased to see my dear friend happy and well cared for. I usually visit my elderly friend a few times a month but at this moment in
time with social distancing, I am only able to keep in touch via video calls and seeing her through the window. I know and can see she is happy and well looked after and I am very thankful for all that the manager and all staff are doing for her (and the other residents) especially over this difficult time. I'm looking forward to being able to get back to visiting her in person when the government gives the go-ahead for visiting care homes as we used to visit.

My mother has been a resident Wolborough Court since 2012. We could not have wished for her to have been anywhere else. We had strong doubts about her going into a care home but these were swiftly allayed. She has always been treated with care compassion and above all dignity. My mother has vascular
dementia which can, and does at times, cause problems. These are always dealt with in a very sensitive way. We are aware of how well Mum is treated at the home and very appreciative. The home is very well kept, clean, smart and the food is of an excellent quality. All in all an excellent care home.

Mum has been at Wolborough Court for the last 6 months. She was warmly welcomed and is very comfortable in her new surroundings. On my visits I have always found the staff very friendly and welcoming, providing a homely atmosphere.
It was evident from the start that everyone treated Mum with the utmost
respect and dignity. Although Mum's memory is not what it was, she speaks highly of the way she has been looked after.
The food is of good quality and enjoyed by Mum, although the recent ‘Lockdown’ has proved difficult for all, I have been able to keep in regular contact with Mum (able to have phone-line installed in bedroom) and if there have been any issues, the home have kept me updated.
The home is nicely decorated and kept very clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wolborough Court.

It's very nice here. I've been here for a long time. They all look after me. I think I am happy and I enjoy the activities they do for me. The other people here are friendly, and I like to talk to them when I am downstairs in the lounge having a cup of tea.

All staff members I have met are kind, polite, treat the clients with respect, talking in a friendly manner. The food is good, cooked freshly on the premises, drinks are available at all times, and snacks or hot drinks are provided if someone wants something extra. Rooms are pleasant with ensuite facilities,
various activities take place in the two lounges, a hairdresser comes in once a week, books and games for people to use are available. The atmosphere is friendly with a family feel.

Mum has been resident here for over two years now and has slowly required more and more care for her Parkinson's. The home is sensitive to her needs and she has been very happy since arriving here. We have been allowed to visit whenever we wish and are treated like one of the Wolborough Court family.

Excellent care provided by a team of staff who are guided by a very caring care home manager who ensures residents are treated with dignity, respect, understanding and individuality. My mother was at Wolborough Court only for a short time before her death, but the care she received was exceptional, as was the staff's regard for her relatives. The home was clean, tidy, airy and bright; my mother's room was comfy and spacious. A number of activities were provided for residents. Relatives
were always made welcome and never made to feel in the way. On her death, the sympathetic support received from all staff was outstanding. I cannot commend the staff, particularly the manager, enough.

Mother was transferred here for a few weeks of care after a stay in hospital.
I can't say enough good things about this home, excellent care, lovely staff, good food, beautiful rooms, just can't fault the place or the people.

My mother has now been a resident at Wolborough Court for 3 and a half years. She has Alzheimer's and her condition is gradually deteriorating as time goes on. The home is always calm and welcoming, the staff - from the cleaner, kitchen staff, care assistants, senior staff and managerial staff are always
cheerful and greet visitors with a smile, even though their shifts may be challenging.
The rooms are clean and tidy and the dining room always looks lovely and welcoming with fresh flowers and menus on the tables, plus the food is excellent. The care given to the residents is compassionate and caring.
