This purpose-built care home provides nursing and care for older people who are physically frail and older people who have mental health needs such as Alzheimer's disease.

Accommodation at Elburton Heights Care Home is provided in single occupancy rooms, all of which are en-suite.

The home provides TV lounges and a quiet sitting room for relaxation. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at mealtimes, are available. Traditional home cooked meals using fresh produce are served and daily choices available. Special diets can be catered for.

I could not have been happier with the care my mum was given. The staff were exceptional and I cannot speak too highly of the place. The best thing about it was the fact you were welcome to visit your mum any time you wanted - you didn't have to pre-book as in other homes. We were told they had nothing
to hide by the manager, that was very much the case as we never found anything untoward, the family was still the same. I would highly recommend this place.

My mother went into Elburton Heights in May 2023 after a fall in her previous care home left her unable to walk. After a bumpy start, she settled in really well. I can't praise the care she received enough, they were absolutely amazing with her. She wasn't the easiest to deal with, but with patience
and care from the excellent staff, she was comfortable and content. When she died in November, everyone was so kind and respectful to us. I would recommend Elburton Heights to anyone who needed care.

Overall, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. I felt very cared for, safe, and happy during my time at Elburton Heights. However, I do feel that there is a lack of interaction between the administrators and the residents. There is also a lack of staff during meal times, which could lead to a
safety issue. The food was tasty, well-prepared, and plentiful, but the menu was very limited and repetitive.

My dad has been in Elburton Heights for 2 weeks now. I have found all the staff helpful and kind to him and myself on my visits. He's looked after very well, the food is good quality, varied and lots of lovely cakes too for snacks. When looking for a home for him this was the best one and I'm 100% sure
that my first impression was right for him. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone works so hard. They have great daily activities and the gardens are also very well kept. He's kept safe, clean, well fed and happy. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you everyone at Elburton Heights.

Best place out of the three homes that I've been to.
Staff are very caring and polite.
I find the room a bit carmped and another chair would be good for visitors. TV remote doesn't work but my visitors can work the TV manually.
Food and drink is good. Nurses are good and look after my general health.
It
is expensive and will take all my life savings.

Mum had been in the home since the beginning of January and we had been delighted with the care she received, all the staff were amazing. Mum loved the activities and was very settled there. Mum sadly passed away in the home on 16th March and the care and support from all the staff on that day were
amazing and very heartfelt at a very sad time.

My uncle has only been there a short time and I have seen a big difference in him he is a lot happier and eating well he says the food is lovely.
The staff are so nice.
There is always lots going on for the residents am so happy we made the decision to move him there it's definitely one of the best.

Our first visit to see my parents. The staff are very kind, helpful and courteous. The care home is clean, tidy and well-presented. Facilities and activities are good. We joined them for a coffee morning and the cakes were delicious. An all round 10 out of 10.

Dad has been in the home since December and we are delighted with the care he has received, all the staff are lovely and genuinely very caring. The activities are great the girls go to so much effort coming up with all sorts of good ideas. Menus sound delivered and Dad said food is very good.

Very impressed with overall care from everyone here. The things that residents do are amazing. They have a better social life than me! Everyone is treated kindly and patiently, even though it must be so difficult at times! The loveliest thing is that the staff always seem happy in themselves and this

Dad has been here since February. I am impressed with the care and compassion shown by all carers. They are so gentle, and patient and have a smile and a sense of humour. They take time to get to know him and his likes/dislikes. Dad's needs are met and he is consulted as to his wishes, retaining some
dignity. I have also been impressed with the activities on offer. At first, I baulked at the idea of dad doing painting or crafts, things he would not do before dementia, but realised that the stimulation and variety of activities offered are so valuable. Dad does not always take part (his choice) but we love checking the social media to see what has been going on - this is a fantastic resource and much appreciated. We especially enjoy the coffee mornings. We all appreciate the way we are welcomed in and are able to bring dad's dog who has become a favourite of residents and staff. While we would rather dad was at home, we are happy with this home, his care, carers and the facilities on offer.

My mum joined Elburton Heights Care Home three years ago on the dementia unit, she was unable to care for herself. At first I was dreading the thought, though it was for the best. At first staff were not sure how to take my mum, and she them, but after a couple of weeks she settled in well and I realised
very quickly that the staff picked up on her little ways, which helped my mum be part of the Elburton family. The unit she is on is very secure and she is free to go wherever in the knowledge she is safe. The entertainment is second to none, of which Mum takes part in most of the activities. It is so satisfying to see the photos posted for family members to see and the smiling face of my mum, she's made friends and is happy. It turns out my fears were misplaced and it was the best decision made to place her in a caring home: Elburton Heights. Thanks to all the caring staff at Elburton Heights. My mum is happy and content and that is all down to the whole team. Thank you from a grateful daughter.

We were very nervous and apprehensive when our father came into Elburton Heights, as he had been independent up until his fall. It’s the openness and friendliness of the staff that have put our minds to rest. Any questions we have had are dealt with quickly and positively. Dad’s pain is being taken
seriously and is being addressed. The staff are treating my father as an individual and all the interactions we have had are positive and very supportive. A lovely, caring place.

The best decision we ever made was choosing this care home for mum after she suffered a massive stroke in 2015. She has been looked after phenomenally well. The love shown to her - and indeed all of us in the family - has been very much appreciated. Every aspect of care has been first-rate, from the
quality of the food to the support of her religious beliefs, and we truly believe her happiness over the past seven years is down to the excellent staff who work here.

Following a few weeks spent in hospital, my mother went to this nursing home. She had vascular dementia. She was made very welcome and her care was excellent. She was there for two months before she died in February, having just been accepted for permanent care. It was sad that she didn't benefit from
longer there - the staff were very caring and friendly.

My Dad went to live at the home in February. He had Dementia. The care he received was wonderful particularly from six staff members, to name but a few. I was very skeptical about my Dad going into a home but I soon realised that he was well looked after and cared for and the staff also really liked
my Dad. Sadly my Dad recently passed away and my only complaint is that the new manager never bothered to even phone my mum to offer her condolences or speak to us when we went to collect my Dad's belongings which were very disappointing. Other than that I would have given 5 stars.
