This purpose-built care home provides nursing and care for older people who are physically frail and older people who have mental health needs such as Alzheimer's disease.

Accommodation at Elburton Heights Care Home is provided in single occupancy rooms, all of which are en-suite.

The home provides TV lounges and a quiet sitting room for relaxation. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at mealtimes, are available. Traditional home cooked meals using fresh produce are served and daily choices available. Special diets can be catered for.

This is a review over the 18 months period that my wife has been in residence. I have a great respect for all staff at the home. Ever since we arrived here, they have shown a good standard of nursing and care displayed. It enables one as visitors to be sure that their loved ones are in safe and capable
hands. I also find it very easy to get guidance over any enquiries I have.

My mother has been here for 6 years the standard of care has vastly improved under the new management. Staff are friendly and helpful. Over the years I have got to know the working of the home well and the staff that have been here for this time. I think my mother is well cared for and considering she
cannot communicate with speech the staff anticipate her needs very well. I can tell that she is very fond of some of them and that they like her.

Room does require recording (but partly the resident's fault as he wouldn't wait for room to be decorated before moving in). Wheelchair cleaning needs to be done on a regular basis. Staff are excellent.

Springfields Care Home have been looking after my very special Mum since January 2014. She has always been treated with love and respect. Also, they have been so supportive towards both my husband and myself when my health has made it difficult for us to see Mum as often as we would like to do.


Dementia

is a dreadful condition and all the staff through from the cleaners to the on-site management are experts in caring for residents with the condition. We are happy to recommend the home and every member of staff to anyone looking to find an excellent residential home for a loved one.

My mum enjoys most days especially when music is being played and she loves the open views of the garden and the staff all know this and do try to accommodate her needs especially when she is having an off and difficult day.
