At Brook View, there's no specific visiting hours, all that is asked is that you let the home know your in the building by signing in on the Ipad in Reception, if outside of Reception hours, just ring the bell and a member of staff will enable your visit.
Parking is available on site at Brook Viewl, all visitor parking is clearly marked. When coming to view the home, please get in touch and a space can be saved.

We do appreciate how any change in the Home Manager can initially be unsettling. Please be reassured that Maggie, our new Manager at Brook View, has transferred just a short distance from a neighbouring Colten Care home. She has a great deal of experience in management and we are confident that any sense of unsettlement your father may have will be extremely short lived as he and his fellow residents and Maggie all get to know each other.”

2 Comments: 1) A very lightweight alarm on neck or wrist band would have brought more immediate help regarding a fall on the first floor.
2) I heard before Christmas that several staff were leaving. I hope it isn't reflected in the care residents receive.

Thank you for your comments about the care at Brook View. Regarding the question of help after a fall, please be aware there are people around at all times who can assist. If someone has a fall while they are on their own at any time, we’ll always do our best to respond straight away to a cry for help. We are of course happy to discuss individual alarm pendants if someone has a need and wants added reassurance. Our call bell systems can facilitate that. On the subject of staff moves, people leave for various reasons including career progression. We always provide an exit interview to help with handover of duties. Please be reassured that residents are at the heart of everything we do and that includes maintaining the quality of care as staff come and go. Thank you once again for your sharing your thoughts.
