Westbourne Tower, a premium provider of dementia care, nursing care and residential care, is ideally situated within easy access to the centre of Bournemouth.

Rooms dedicated to respite stays following a hospital visit or when your carer is on holiday. The care home has 114 beds and on-site nursing facilities.

The care home is located a short distance from the centre of Bournemouth, offering a wide range of accommodation options and beautiful, wheelchair-friendly landscaped gardens designed for a gentle stroll or relaxing walk. Pet-friendly, so your four-legged friends can also move in.

Excellent care provided by all staff that always go the extra mile for our mother. Westbourne Towers is a very warm and friendly care home and offers great facilities for the residents, a clean and well lit home, as my mother says it feels like home.

Just back from an excellent visit to Westbourne Tower care home. This a special place run by a very caring, skilled and attentive staff. Stepping into Westbourne one is immediately struck by the warmth of the ambience quite apart from the spacious surroundings. It was evident that everyone was given
superb attention and their needs were met whether medical or social. There were plenty of staff on hand to simply chat to if needed and a wide variety of activities for the residents to pursue should they wish. The home is set in beautifully tended gardens and although the weather didn't permit it was clear that it was lovely resource for the residents to use in more clement days. What also made a lasting impression is how residents were treated as individuals even being allowed to furnish their own rooms. A caring touch. Well done to all concerned.

The team at Westbourne Towers have been exceptional in their care of my parents. Unfortunately my father became ill shortly after moving there, and there was a rapid and joined up response to his care. They involved us fully within this we could not have asked or expected any better. There are frequent
daily activities, and residents are support to feel at home and to make friends. Every carer, and every member of the team have demonstrated infinite patience, kindness and support.

The standard of care is excellent. There is a good variety of tasty, healthy food served in the dining rooms or in residents' rooms if preferred. The interior of the home is well presented and has spacious communal areas suitable for their varied programme of activities. There are plenty of parking
spaces for guests and the outside areas are well landscaped with plenty of seating areas.
To summarise, I think this home makes every effort to help residents settle into their new home and give them the best experience.

We have found the overall experience here to be excellent. The level of care provided to my uncle is beyond expectations. The carers are very kind and extremely attentive at all times. The admin staff have been so happy to help with all aspects including information, providing help with a quiet place
to sit with visitors, photocopying documents and the opportunity to join my uncle for lunchtime meals. We have no hesitation in recommending Westbourne Tower Care Home to others.

Westbourne Towers is a very good care home. I had viewed a few before I settled on this home. The staff are very friendly and always checking on the residents and chatting with them. There are plenty of activities going on which is a good thing. The rooms are very nice and the food is excellent.

It is not an easy decision to move your husband to a care home after 58 happy years of marriage but on the advice of my family and medical staff, we both decided it was the best plan.
I looked around many homes and Westbourne Tower was the first. The others had a lot to live up to because I immediately
liked the smell, feel, cleanliness and welcome from all the staff. The home is spacious and at last, my husband is eating food! It must be good because his appetite for the last year has been very poor and he lost weight. He has at last gained it. Non-alcoholic wine is a lovely idea.
The staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Unfortunately, skeleton staff have been on recently at breakfast and this disturbs my husband because he always likes punctuality and efficiency ... not that he is in a rush to go anywhere but he likes good organisation.
It is lovely to see appropriate arrangements for topical happenings in the foyer and be able to have a coffee and snack.

Westbourne Towers always feels warm and homely, quiet and staff super friendly. Clients/residents will appear very happy. The facilities are excellent, hotel standard! In fact, it looks like a hotel. The food and dining room are excellent and I love the little cafe area as you enter, so lovely to have
a piano there in the entrance too. The range of activities are so varied and plentiful. The gardens are beautiful. Overall a very happy place to come to and probably live.

All staff are very helpful and caring to residents and treat them with dignity. The staff and senior management are very helpful also, nothing is too much trouble. Very clean throughout the home. A very difficult time putting Mum and Dad into a care home but as soon as we walked into Westbourne Tower we felt happy and were doing the right thing. They helped with a lot of questions we had. The staff are all super friendly, professional and helpful. Now Mum and Dad are settled they are really
happy. There's always something going on, plus minibus trips out. You can do as much or as little as you like. It is lovely and clean and the coffee shop area is great. A lovely place.

I have been here since it opened in 2006. I can’t believe how time has flown by. Although I already had the skill set I was working as a Bank Chef alongside my own business and was asked to take on the managerial role which was an easy transition. I trained and worked in London, Morocco, France and Italy before returning to the UK and settling in Bournemouth. My food specialities are multicultural and the residents love it when I do theme days. I have been a major part of this home being awarded CQC Outstanding, the CQC assessor loved my secret ingredient “ a bit of love”. I run a monthly Dining Committee where residents can influence what is on the menu, likes and dislikes and I love nothing more than walking around the dining room on a daily basis to ensure their wishes have been followed. I like to surprise residents with their favourite dishes, for special occasions. I have to say I love my job and my residents make me smile every day. I am proud to say I work here.

I am delighted to have been recently appointed for this important role, in delivering a varied, stimulating and educational programme for our residents. I like to think outside the box and ongoing feedback from our residents, it enables my talented activity team to deliver, along with our team of amazing volunteers.
