Set in beautiful gardens, Windsor Court is a warm and friendly residential care home, delivering high quality permanent care and respite care. The home takes a compassionate and understanding approach to the personal care of older people, providing real quality of life in a caring and friendly atmosphere.

Windsor Court offers short-term care, rehabilitation and long-term care for older people, supporting individuals with a range of specialist medical conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery and epilepsy. They also offer support for adults with learning disabilities, as well as those with autism who have developed early-onset dementia.

Accommodation is provided in private single rooms, with en-suite facilities. Each room is fully equipped to offer all the necessary equipment for residents. Residents are encouraged to make their rooms feel like home with their own familiar and treasured items so they may settle comfortably.

Residents at Windsor Court enjoy relaxing lounges, including the library lounge which provides direct access to the patio and stunning landscaped gardens. The home provides freshly cooked, traditional meals and caters to dietary requirements. The home utilises digital platforms to enhance their services, including the Immedicare 24/7 telemedicine system.

Residents have the opportunity to regularly socialise, with a wide range of activities suitable for different needs. There is an on-site activities coordinator who arranges a full programme of events tailored to the enjoyment and wellbeing of residents. Regular visits from a local hairdresser, chiropodist, optician, and dentist are arranged for the benefit of the residents.

Extremely happy with the level care that my mother receives in Windsor Court. Excellent food, very clean and friendly care home. Beautiful and very comfortable room. Well done to the managers for everything.

Windsor Court has given me a 'home away from home'. Staff and management all come together and creates a family feeling. There is not much that bothers me and if there is, it is normally dealt with promptly. Myself and all other residents all receive good quality care at all times.

I started visiting Windsor Court about 8 years ago when my husband's great aunt became a patient. She could be very stubborn and awkward but was always well looked after and treated with respect right up until the end. I still regularly visit as I became very friendly with another patient whilst visiting
my husband's great aunt. I am always let in by a smiley member of staff and the lunch I enjoy once a month is always delicious. All the staff treat the patients with respect and the social events and entertainment I have been to are well appreciated. I look forward to my visits to Windsor Court.

A lovely care home, my friend whom I visit is always looked after well and treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. I visit twice a week and at varying times and have found no fault with care given.
The ongoing refurbishment will enhance the home further.

Arrival without prior arrangement and musical entertainment taking place in the lounge. As usual, home is clean, tidy and well staffed, latter engaged with residents during the entertainment. The resident I was visiting was happy and joining in. As always the staff were pleasant and helpful. I think
the residents here are lucky to have found this place. The only negative being that at the time of my visit a lot of items of clothing had gone missing!

Fantastic home! Couldn’t have asked for a better home for my dad. Initially, I was very wary, as Dad didn’t want to be there and was very anxious (due to his dementia), he had a period of being very stressed and sometimes verbally aggressive to the staff. They took it all in their stride, calming him
down and keeping us informed when they thought it was necessary.


Everyone there from the handyman to the chefs, care staff, cleaners, manager, is so friendly and open, nothing is too much for them and my Dad gets the best care from everyone. They even put up with his dodgy sense of humour!


Dad asked this week how long he was allowed to stay at Windsor Court. We told him ‘for ever’ and he was so happy. That is, in my opinion, the best review that this home could have.

My mother has been a resident for over three years at Windsor Court and I have never had any thought that it was not the right place for her. All the staff from management to carers, from kitchen to cleaners are friendly and helpful. My mother is very happy which says it all.

I became familiar with Windsor Court Care Home when my late father-in-law was placed there.
As a result, I placed my own father there and he has received similar good treatment.
The management are always responsive to concerns and the staff are helpful. The food is excellent.
In the past, the
home has experienced some problems but now they are resolved with new owners.
Despite all the problems that old age care involves, I have always felt that my father was well looked after.
If I have had any worries these have been dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.

My mother has improved in many ways since becoming a resident at Windsor Court. She was having palliative care being turned regularly. Now she is knitting, reading and taking part in all activities. Her ulcerated leg has healed after eight years. The family believed her to be dying. She is like a new
person now. The manager is amazing with her and all other residents. The staff are first class. I know my mother is safe and extremely well looked after.

Job Title: Registered Manager

I joined Windsor Court as a Senior Care Assistant but within the year progressed to the role of Duty Manager and have now taken on the role of Home Manager, completing my registration in July 2024.


I was inspired and passionate about end-of-life care by my Nan who I cared for at the end of her life. It’s especially important to ensure the emotional side of this journey is very special for everyone concerned and involved and to ensure people receive the best possible care and the utmost dignity when they pass.


I really enjoy working at Windsor Court, I work with a great team where everyone helps each other, there is very good communication and we are just like one big family. The training provided is very good and I receive great support from the entire team.

I have worked at Windsor Court since 2023, but with all the wonderful residents, families and colleagues I have gotten to know, it feels like I have been here much longer.


Since the moment I first stepped into Windsor Court, it broke my preconceptions of what a care home is. It was a warm, friendly environment, I instantly felt welcomed by the staff and residents.


In my role at Windsor Court, I support the Home Manager with daily tasks such as supervisions, staff training and carrying out pre-assessments for potential residents. I also provide support to the team on the floor, helping residents with personal care tasks and supporting with medication administration.


I am so grateful to the management at Windsor Court for enabling me to progress and grow into my current role as Support Manager.

I first joined Windsor Court in February 2022 in the role of Health Care Assistant and within 6 months I was promoted to Senior Care Assistant. I love the family feel at Windsor Court and enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. My job keeps me busy administering medicines to residents, liaising with GP teams and nurses, as well as ensuring the residents’ care plans are kept up to date. No two days are the same at Windsor Court and that variety in my day-to-day experience is something I really like.


I enjoy working with the team at Windsor Court, they are a group of such passionate and caring people and we work well together as a team. I relish in the opportunities provided by Windsor Court and Beritaz Care to progress in my career and develop my skills, it is a wonderful place to work.

I first joined the team at Windsor Court towards the end of 2021 in the role of Care Assistant. Since then I have progressed to Carer Plus and at the start of 2023 was promoted to Senior Care Assistant.


I have been working in the care industry for about 8 years, I like helping people so this industry and the role I do really appealed to me. I get on really well with the entire team, all the staff here are very caring and dedicated to their jobs. It is great to work with a team of people I know I can rely on.


My role at the home is to make sure all the residents are safe and happy. I look after their general wellbeing and ensure their needs are being met, this can involve many different things from making sure they have to eat and drink, to spending time having a chat to find out how they are feeling. I really enjoy talking to the residents, learning about their lives and hearing their stories, it’s my favourite thing about my job. I like that I am able to develop good relationships with the residents and really get to know them, it feels like I have 30 grandparents.

I have been working as a Care Assistant at Windsor Court since August 2022. I moved to the UK just before starting the role, the management at Windsor Court and Beritaz Care were wonderful and really helped me to settle in after my move. Joining the Windsor Court team was like finding a new family in another part of the world, I felt welcomed straight away.


I have been working within the care industry for quite some time, having worked in care homes in Africa before I moved to the UK. Working with the elderly and helping those who cannot help themselves is my passion. I feel good knowing I have made a positive impact on someone’s life. I enjoy having the chance to get to know the residents, spending time chatting and interacting with them, providing any emotional support they may also need. Seeing how well all of the staff and residents communicate with each other is something I really appreciate working at Windsor Court.

I have been a Senior Healthcare Assistant at Windsor Court for roughly 1 and a half years. However, it feels like a millennium because of the bond that we have developed as a team. Daily my role at Windsor Court has me working with stakeholders from diverse entities, it is both challenging and exciting to be part of a team that strives to make each, and every service user receive the best care. I administer medication to the residents. I interact with other healthcare professionals; this may involve advocating for our residents so that they receive the best care.


Easily my favourite part about my job is interacting with residents and their relatives. I am fascinated by the wonderful lives they have led. I have the pleasure of being their friend and carer and I get to hear a lifetime worth of memories and lessons. The teamwork at the home is fantastic, I work with wonderful people. Their desire to share knowledge and experience in a judgement-free zone.

Caroline has worked at Windsor Court for 20 years, having first joined the team in 2003, and has seen many changes inside the home during this time. She has achieved both her NVQ Levels 2 & 3.


Caroline enjoys the ongoing training that is provided in the home and the opportunities to undertake distance learning courses. Caroline would like to learn new skills and carry on working as part of a dedicated team at Windsor Court and says that she would recommend Windsor Court to anyone who wants to work in Health Care.


When not at work she loves spending time with her family, Caroline’s daughter has recently joined the Windsor Court team as an apprentice.

Hi, I have been part of the activities team working at Windsor Court since November 2018. Previously, I worked at another care home managed by Beritaz care for 2 years.


Applying for an activities organisers role was a whole new career for me, using skills from my previous life knowledge and experience. I feel privileged to provide a variety of activities to support resident’s individual interests and hobbies, no two days are the same and the greatest gift is seeing the residents happy, I am truly able to say I have the best job!


I am part of a team and organisation that really cares about one another, the support and training you receive is very good. If you feel you are ready for a change in career you couldn’t choose a more supportive organisation than the Beritaz Care Group to work for.

I joined the team at Windsor Court in August 2022 as Administrator. Before taking on this role, I had worked for over 6 years as an Industrial Engineer across the manufacturing sector in Venezuela. Although I had limited experience and knowledge about the care industry, my life was forever changed after my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2015. This event really inspired my interest in the care industry and my decision to pursue this role.
