Today, it is a modern, purpose-built care home that feels like a home, from a home.

My mother moved in November, form hospital, where she had been for 4 months. Staff have done everything possible to help her settle in, treating her with such kindness and respect. Nothing has been too much trouble. I haven't seen more genuine kindness and caring anywhere and I visited a lot of care
homes! Everything has been done to help myself and my sister through this difficult transition. Everyone is happy to talk anytime about any concerns. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brockworth to anyone looking for dementia care for their loved one.

Mum has only been in the home for three weeks but I have been so impressed with the care and kindness she has received. We have been kept updated on her condition and have had a meeting with her new GP to discuss her future care plans. Nothing is too much trouble for the team and I feel safe leaving
my Mum in their care.

I cannot express with words how amazing and wonderful the staff, home and facilities are. So much support for mum but, also for us, it's a truly amazing place. Such care, love and dignity from the management to the nurses, cleaners, cooks and all in-between, truly lovely and amazing people. Thanks and
love never seems to be enough.

I have been visiting my brother twice weekly for over 18 months and the standard of care is exceptional. Staff are always smiling and go out of their way to answer any questions I may have. My brother is nearly always in a "happy place" on each visit and is always clean.
I would and have, no problem
recommending Brockworth House to anyone seeking care for their loved ones.

My Dad moved to Brockworth House from another care home almost two years ago because they were no longer able to provide his dementia care needs.
Since being at Brockworth you'd think that his condition has improved! I know that's not really possible, but with the right care, given the right activities
(music, music and music!), in the right environment, done by wonderful people who seemingly have infinite patience and kindness, he genuinely is in a far better condition than before.
He really seems to be enjoying himself, which is amazing, and wonderful.

I highly recommend Brockworth House. The staff are always approachable, helpful and welcoming. My mother is cared for with dignity and compassion. The food looks amazing and visiting family members were treated to delicious cake on the recent open day.

Management were amazing at an extremely difficult time for my mother, immediate assistance was given in an urgent situation enabling her to be moved after assessment to a safe, caring environment due to her dementia becoming worse.
Brockworth House has offered so much advise, care and peace of mind
to all my family, they rescued us from an extremely urgent situation for which we will always be grateful.

My mum was only at Brockworth House for the last 2 weeks of her life. I was so impressed, not only by the kindness and care for my mum but also by the support for me as I visited daily. My very first phone call was answered by such a kind, friendly voice, which was so reassuring at a very stressful
time. The staff showed respect for each other; I never heard them talk negatively about the home or other staff, which helped to create a warm, family feel. Even when Mum died there were hugs and cups of tea for me and no pressure to remove her belongings quickly. One of the reasons I chose the home was due to the vision of care on their website - it sounded too good to be true but it actually turned out to be completely genuine. The vision and passion for excellence felt the same right from the management and office staff through to the nursing staff, carers and cleaners. I would sincerely recommend Brockworth House and feel so grateful that I found such a place.

I cannot recommend Brockworth House highly enough. The care that all the staff provided for my lovely Mum constantly impressed. We were always kept up to date with her care and nothing seemed too much trouble. Everyone there was approachable and kind. When the community tissue viability team were unable
to help with a pressure sore (that she came to Brockworth House with) the team there went on a mission to help. Amazingly, and against the odds, they made it better, this involved turning Mum every 2 hours and constant dressing changes - something that the hospital couldn’t manage. The staff all seemed to care about us as much as Mum, this became even more apparent as she became poorly. So many kind and heartfelt words, we really did appreciate it all.
I am forever grateful that Mum came to Brockworth House. Thank you all.

My husband, a dementia sufferer, has been resident at Brockworth House Care Centre since April 2015. I cannot express highly enough my own and the family's appreciation of the care and attention were unfailingly given to him by each member of staff involved. That he remains content and relaxed means
so much, as does the thoughtful and professional responsive shown to him in all his mental and physical needs. Staff are ever courteous and available to discuss any particular issue.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say that the care my dad received was outstanding and as a family, we are truly grateful. My dad had the experience of another home before Brockworth house and he would have left this world earlier but Brockworth house saved his life and made him happy right up to
when he died Tuesday 13th November.
End of life care was outstanding, and as a family, we were able to be with him night and day. All the staff looked after us all and love in that home was felt. Dad and all the family love the staff and all the residents and my sister and I will carry on visiting the residents.
Dad would be happy for us to go see the family he gained in his last home Brockworth House. Thank you all so much on behalf of my dad and family.

The care my husband received at Brockworth House was outstanding. From the moment he arrived he was treated with upmost respect, care and love, as we all were as a family. Nothing was too much trouble and each resident is treated as an individual. All the staff from all the office staff, to nurses and
carers, to cleaners, kitchen and laundry staff were professional, compassionate and caring. The care my husband received during the ten months he was a resident was fantastic. Having one doctor responsible for all the residents is an excellent idea which works well. When my husband was dying, every kindness, help and love was shown by all the staff to the whole family. Definitely the place to go with dementia.
