I have built a strong and dedicated team and our focus is to provide person-centred care for all residents where they are treated with respect and dignity. Hello, I am Ben and I am the Activities Coordinator at Hunters. I started working at Hunters over three years ago as part of the hospitality team and when the vacancy came up on the activities team I jumped at the opportunity. I have seen how important a varied activities programme is to all our residents and I have an absolute commitment to ensuring we are offering something for everyone including some favourite regular past times as well as new ideas.
Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme focuses on mind, body and soul and this will be the team's aim in all that we offer our residents in terms of regular activities as well as special events.

Hello, I am Ali and I am one of the Activities Assistants at Hunters. I have worked with older people for many years, initially at a day centre and then in another home as the activities coordinator. I joined Hunters as a hostess, not traditionally an entertaining role, but I did dress up for events and when the opportunity came up I was delighted to move back into activities. I love to bring fun and laughter to the residents, you will often see me in a different outfit! Equally, I enjoy spending one-on-one time with a resident in their room chatting or reading. It is this variety that makes activities such a great role.
