The home has been renovated and extended to provide two new wings in keeping with the original Georgian architectural style to deliver the highest standards of care to residents.

The home has comfortable and beautifully furnished single bedrooms, all of which are en suite with a shower wet room, own telephone, television and DVD player.

My mother has been in Beauchamp House for 4 years and has always been looked after well, but during the last year, the staff have been exceptional and gone the extra mile to ensure safety, kindness and reassurance to my mother. The activities have been stepped up to keep the residents busy, happy and
focussed. The girls and boys that look after the residents and our loved ones are wonderful and I know my mum looks on them as family. While we are unable to visit at this time we feel that we are not getting enough updates on our mum's daily health and wellbeing, we feel that we should get new reports weekly to save a phone call.

My experience with Hatch Beauchamp Care Home over the last few years visiting my Mother has been excellent.
It is an extremely friendly and welcoming home efficiently run at all times by long-serving staff who are both professional, caring and compassionate to all individuals whether resident, relative
or visitor. Individual attention to residents is exemplary by both day and night staff.
There is always a high degree of efficiency keeping relatives informed at all material times and much evidence of genuine understanding given to residents throughout their stay. In my opinion, the ethos of the home is to provide high-quality care with the emphasis that it is the "home" of the resident and the staff are there for them, making their transition into care easier and reassuring. Hatch Beauchamp House is a credit to the Care Profession and as family, we consider ourselves most fortunate that our dear family member spent her final years in such a wonderful establishment.

Our experience of Beauchamp House Country Care is entirely positive. There is a calm and pleasant atmosphere on arrival at Beauchamp House. The staff and management are friendly, helpful and always strive to meet our relative's requirements. The meals are lovingly prepared, tasty and there are plenty
of choices on offer. Cleanliness is paramount throughout the home at all times. Activities are always great fun and stimulating. Everyone enjoys the singing sessions and the gardens and grounds are immaculate and accessible. Nothing is too much trouble therefore I would not hesitate to recommend Beauchamp House to anyone looking for nursing care for a relative/friend.

Beauchamp Country House is a wonderful place. The staff all care for their patients and nothing is too much trouble. My friend is very, very happy and content with the care that is given to her. I am advised if there is a problem with her and this is swiftly sorted out. I do feel that the patients
come first.

Beauchamp House staff are friendly and dedicated. They put the needs of the residents first and foremost and have worked tirelessly during COVID to keep them safe, healthy and happy. Although the costs are expensive, they are in line with other care providers, and when my parents needed Social Care
funding to take over, the management at the head office were open to discussion and negotiation regards the cost of continuing care, so that an agreement was reached.

My mother has settled in very well to Beauchamp House, and even to be as content as could be during Covid, thanks to all the staff who are consistently cheerful, caring and respectful. The staff are also extremely helpful to me, and to the rest of my family, with any questions we may have. And I am
always informed if my mother has had any accident. The long-term loyalty of the staff, some of whom I know have restricted their own holidays during Covid, is very impressive. The comments below chiefly apply to October 2020, but for aspects such as cleanliness, food and drink, and rooms they reflect my opinions from the last time we were able to visit the home, before Covid.

A lovely place, my Mum is very happy to call her Home.
Wonderful staff with whom you feel a genuine sense of pride, professionalism and a sense of care and warmth in the way they look after the people staying.
The buildings are very well maintained and the Garden is a picture.

My wife had asthma/COPD, with complications and reducing memory. After hospitalisation in March/April it was clear she needed 24/7. We have lived in this village for nearly 55 years and are aware of its reputation. The staff were very good and helping her to get out of hospital and into the home. Very
kind and tactful. They handled her further admission to hospital and then return extremely well. They also laid on a splendid lunch for 8 of us to celebrate our 62nd anniversary. Could not have been kinder. Only complaint. I had £2000 owing on the rent and this took a long time to reach us.

Mum received end of life care at Beauchamp care home. We had hoped that she would have lived longer to enjoy the surroundings. However, that was not to be. The care she received in the last two weeks of her life was outstanding. Staff were professional, sensitive and very supportive.

Lovely place in a quiet, rural setting with beautiful grounds. Took great care of my father after he left hospital following an illness. He suffered with dementia and the staff were wonderful and fully understood how frail and confused he was. He had a lovely room, overlooking the beautiful gardens
which really helped compensate him for no longer being able to look after himself in his own home. As his son and only surviving family member, I feel incredibly lucky, and proud, that his final days were in such a nice place. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We found ourselves in an impossible situation with my stepfather, whose health deteriorated very suddenly soon after we discovered that he was terminally ill. We were unable to cope. Beauchamp admitted him at very short notice and cared for him wonderfully during what proved to be his last 48 hours.
We will always be grateful to all the staff, from orderlies upwards, and would not hesitate in recommending Beauchamp Country House Care to others.

I found Beauchamp comfortable, caring and excellent - except for the bed which was so noisy, it was like something from a horror film. As I was told by 2 members of maintenance, it had not been fitted correctly into the wall and I spent my first night sleeping on the chair from 4am! Many efforts were
made to improve the situation, but the 'rattling chains' persisted - though somewhat reduced! Had I availed of all the excellent sustenance offered I would be on a diet now! All staff were delightful and anxious to please, and make my stay a most enjoyable experience. Having the 'assisted bath' was a pure joy! And it was a delight to have my hair done with no hassle.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer and admitted to this home in early March 2019. She died in mid June 2019. Almost everything was excellent, with one exception. This is a beautiful home, with lovely grounds and very caring nursing and welfare staff. They were always very kind to my mother and treated
her with great dignity and respect. Her room was lovely and the food and general ambience very good. It has the feel of a country house hotel. Excellent housekeeping, laundry, activities, and nursing/personal care. There are some lovely people here. Sadly, despite my mother having a clear 3 month life expectancy diagnosis from a consultant oncologist and 2 independent GPs, the home did not support a CHC FT application because they (incorrectly) did not consider my mother ill enough - she was very stoical and never made a fuss. The CHC FT took the advice of the home - they did not visit. Thus, my mother died 3 months after admission, unfunded. How sad and distressing for the family.

The staff are quite amazing, so warm-hearted and caring and genuinely interested in the residents. They always react quickly when there is a problem. I would like to see more attention paid to appointments e.g. nail care and hair. The quality of cleanliness could be improved.
