Final fees are subject to assessment of the potential resident, the size of the room offered and the facilities needed / available.
Additional services such as hairdressing, chiropody, newspapers and excursions are not included in the standard weekly fees.
Contact with relatives and friends is fundamental to their resident’s health and well-being and visits are encouraged.
No restrictions or booking requirements to visit Oak Lodge Care Home; however different rules apply should there be a Covid-19 outbreak, and they ask to not visit during ‘protected mealtimes’ unless is a part of the essential caregiver role.
Oak Lodge Care Home has a private car park with parking, including disabled parking bays, for people visiting the Home. There is no charge to use the cark park.

Socks the cat has been in charge of the staff and residents at Oak Lodge Care Home for a number of years. He was born on the 18th of February 2012, and it is believed he is a direct descendant of the Sphynx.
Socks' main duties are sleeping, gathering his strength, eating, and looking at the birds in the garden. He is normally found in the laundry where he has a good supply of food, a bowl of fresh water and some very soft, warm blankets to lay upon on top of the tumble drier. He knows instinctively who likes his company, and has made good friends with many staff and residents in the home.
Socks are extremely tolerant of other pets, so there's no issue with residents seeing their families' pets when they come in to visit.
