Overall Experience

It has been impossible to visit this month because of Covid restrictions but when I last visited in January my sister was cheerful and alert and seemed to have a good relationship with the staff who, of course, have been under great pressure. She was talkative and pleased to see me. I hope when the

situation improves the she will have more opportunities to meet other residents.

Overall Experience

My dad was transferred from hospital to this care home mid January. The room was always clean.
He was treated with care and kindness from all of the staff before his passing on the 13th February.
The staff were very supportive to me and other members of the family during our visits at a difficult

time.

Overall Experience

My mother was treated kindly and had plenty of choice regarding meals. The room always looked clean when we visited and the facilities were good. The security is good at this care home and the management team always replied to emails very quickly and sorted any queries I had well.

Overall Experience

My spouse was well looked after, he felt safe and cared for. He was always highly complimentary about the staff and the food. Whenever I visited there was always a warm and lovely atmosphere around the home generally.

Overall Experience

My mother was extremely well cared for during her almost 6 year stay here. The staff are wonderful and Mum was treated so well. In the final 2 weeks of her life, Mum was treated with kindness and dignity and I and my brothers were also cared for as we sat with her. The staff are all kind and caring.

Overall Experience

Overall Experience

My husband was admitted to be assessed as to his needs he, however, rapidly declined and was confirmed end of life. Staff have been amazing. I'm so pleased that my husband was not in a hospital environment, the room here was intimate and homely, staff fed me and nothing was too much trouble. As my husband's

carer, I was able to visit daily and stay overnight. My husband's last two weeks were what he would have wanted and I'll always be eternally grateful.

Overall Experience

I have been in this room for 3 and a half years and I've made it homely with lots from home after a bad fall and smashing my left hip. I was rushed to hospital and after a few weeks, an ambulance brought me here at 8 o'clock in the morning. I am very happy here with a lovely view of very old Ash and

Maple trees, which was the old vicarage garden, but now part of the carpark. There are tables and chairs just outside my French doors which have a high stone step down onto the tarmac. My door is open most of the day, weather permitting. I can't walk very far. I have balance problems too, as well as ulcerative colitis since the age of about 15.

Overall Experience

Market Lavington is a very nice Care Home in a quiet village of the same name. We particularly like the very kind staff who have an excellent, empathetic relationship with our brother. All the carers are lovely and we are very grateful to them all. We are impressed with the food, which our brother

likes very much. The Home is spotless. The manager takes all possible measures to ensure that visitors do not bring coronavirus into the Care Home. We are very grateful for this. The staff have even given us a box of test kits so that we do not have to test on the doorstep of the home and wait outside but can test ourselves just before we leave home and bring them with us. This is so kind and thoughtful. All the staff are so nice and very helpful, including the hard-working kitchen staff, the gardener and the odd job man who is very helpful too. The home is very well run. The staff and managers are absolute heroes, and they deserve congratulations on the high standards they achieve.

Overall Experience

On a practical level, we are impressed with Market Lavington Care Home. Mum's room is simple and homely, the facilities are always clean. There is a little garden area where we have sat with her on sunny afternoons. The meals smell delicious and are healthy portion size. The afternoon tea trolley comes

round with little cakes of a healthy size. There is a warm easy feel to the communal areas. Above all, we are very, very happy with the care Mum has received. She is very relaxed and affectionate with all the carers we see her with and clearly feels safe and able to express her needs.

Overall Experience

Having been to other residential homes I do believe that there could be greater opportunities for enrichment such as raised flower beds so the residents can garden. The gardens are uncared for and could be utilised for residents mental health. Motr enrichment activities generally would be good as my

grandmother complains of being bored. Staff though are very lovely.
