The 'from' fees for nursing care are for those eligible for NHS funded nursing care (FNC).
Respite stays cost an additional 10% per week on the standard fee.
Anyone who moves in to a Brendoncare home as a permanent resident is eligible for our Care for Life promise. This is a charitable top up, meaning they will never have to move due to lack of funds.

I am a registered nurse who trained at the medical academy in Bydgoszcz in Poland. Upon completion of my training, I worked in a hospital ward and then in a doctor’s surgery before returning to the hospital to work in the neurological ward. I moved to the UK in 2007 and joined the care team at a nursing home then worked as a support worker for people with learning disabilities. I started working as a nurse in a nursing home in 2010. In 2012, I joined Brendoncare Froxfield as a registered nurse, later becoming its Deputy Manager and then its Registered Manager in 2019.

Lesley loves making sure the care our residents receive is of the highest standards. Lesley loves Brendoncare Froxfield, and spends so much time here that her husband became our part-time gardener so he gets to see her!

Laura has spent her whole career dedicated to supporting people with major decisions and is passionate about excellent customer service. Working for a charity that focuses on improving the lives of older people in our society strongly resonates with Laura’s personal values and interest in connecting with people. As Laura says “The main joy I get from my job is chatting to our residents and their families and hearing about all of the wonderful experiences people have had throughout their life. The care sector can be a challenging system to navigate and it gives me great personal satisfaction helping people to ensure that this journey is positive as it can be very daunting at first”.
