Maristow Nursing Home is an independent, long established, nursing home with just sixteen residents. If you’re looking for that truly ‘home from home’ feel, which will provide a peaceful environment and attentive care, then Maristow is an excellent choice. They are neither super busy nor super formal – taking pride in being quietly professional and very down to earth.

The home is situated in a pleasant suburban street, overlooking the sports fields of Chafyn Grove School at the front and gardens at the rear. The home is just a ten-minute walk from Salisbury City centre and close to the Salisbury ring road.

The very experienced management team works directly at the home. They all work to an ‘open door’ policy. There is no remote head office of ‘number crunchers’ – everyone is very ‘hands on’ and they are able to get to know each other, the residents, and families personally. In such a small home of people, you can’t just be a ‘number on the door’ – everyone becomes a friend and will be treated and respected as such.

The home is very well regarded by the Community Health Services who support their practice in providing high-quality health and social care to the potentially vulnerable people who choose to move in and live with them.

By choosing Maristow Nursing Home you are assured of a professional, warm and friendly welcome and the team is confident that you will quickly feel ‘at home’.
