Nanna's home is like a lovely hotel. It is immaculate with wonderful facilities, and delicious menus. The staff are warm and caring, and communication is excellent. The way the manager and the team have handled the Covid crisis has been amazing and has even facilitated safe visiting. I can't recommend
Blenheim House highly enough.

When Dad needed to go into a care home we were so worried, we had been recommended Blenheim House and we are so glad. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Always happy and trying to do their best to make sure the residents have a fulfilled life. Whenever we have had a query it has been resolved

The whole process was made remarkably easy and pleasant by the staff at Blenheim, from first enquiry to handing over my relation under Covid rules, to settling her into her room and new environment. She has settled in so well thanks to the exceptional kindness of the staff and the stress lines have
disappeared and she is very happy. I couldn't have asked for more, from my point of view dealing with the admin to the worry of settling in a beloved relative into this new environment.

The staff at Blenheim House have been absolutely wonderful throughout the Pandemic, responding quickly and effectively to everything that has been thrust upon them. We visited my Father today, and as per usual the infection control procedures were exemplary. Also, as usual, my Father was full of praise
for everything the staff are doing. We are so grateful he is in such a safe and comfortable place.

When you enter Blenheim Care Home you feel like you are entering a top star hotel. This is not the norm for care home - it is way up there, the best of the best. One outstanding thing that struck me on my visits was that the staff were always smiling. This told me that they enjoy their jobs, something
you just don’t see at many other care homes. They are always professional and very caring, whether you are a resident or visiting, never stressing no matter what happens. I will be very happy to become a resident at Blenheim when my time comes. I cannot put into words how much praise I have for Blenheim. After months recovering from a half hip replacement, my 98-year-old father needed to find a care home that could cope with his various medical needs. Following a single call to Blenheim House, I received all the help and advice I needed. A brochure was sent electronically to me. Throughout his stay,
all the staff were friendly and professional. Every effort is made to ensure relatives can still visit their loved ones by the use of strict booking system and a glass partitioned corner in the room. In all, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Blenheim House.

My husband has been at Blenheim House since September 2020. I cannot thank them enough for their caring and kindness. I have been traumatised by a past experience of a care home. At last, I can sleep at night and be less anxious knowing that my husband is well looked after. The staff in all areas are
fantastic at their job. The team brought his drum kit in so that my husband as a jazz drummer could have a bash, so thoughtful.

Because of Covid, I was unable to visit Blenheim House but it was recommended by the doctors treating my mother at Bath Hospital. We knew Mum would only be there for a few weeks in view of her brain tumours. She could not talk or recognise us. The Home arranged Whatsapp calling for her children, and
grandchildren We were always spoken to by staff with a great deal of care. I spoke to a lady several times and she gave me a guided tour of the room and en-suite. Mum did not look in any pain or discomfort. Our questions were always answered patiently. When Covid is over I would hope to visit the home and see where Mum spent the last few weeks of her life. Many thanks to you all for the care and compassion with which you carry out your work.

I have seen many care and nursing homes with my family BUT Blenheim House is in a league of its own. The home is run by a highly professional group of people but that is only part of it - what impressed me was the care and interest they showed in my mother and they always seemed to go that extra mile.
This was across the board from the reception to the nurses, the carers and the activities team they all worked to make my mothers stay with them as good as it possibly could be.

My father has lived here for 2.5 years, since moving from his previous home of 50+ years.
Whilst such a major change was not easy for him, the staff and facilities have helped make it possible, from the initial welcome, to care he has received since.
He moved to be safer and above all else, this
has been achieved throughout his time here. This basic need, of course, has been challenged this year by COVID-19, an outside effect which was not expected. The way the staff (led by an excellent manager) have adjusted and managed this has been nothing short of remarkable. He (and everyone else in the home) have thus far remained safe.
The space, cleanliness, gardens, activities all go to provide a very welcoming, pleasant, peaceful environment but above all else, it is the people that make it what it is.

My dad has been a resident at Blenheim House for a year now. Great staff, good food, spacious room and lovely gardens. He had a weekly Tai Chi class and the wide corridors allow him to get around with his walker with ease. COVID lockdown has been a difficult time, but Blenheim took the threat seriously
from the beginning, locking down early. They currently have a Be More Festival and Dad was chuffed with his crazy golf medal. Events in the garden have been making the most of the summer weather. I have daily video calls with my dad using an Alexa show we had installed and staff have been fabulous fixing the technical problems we've had. It has been a reassuring comforting home for him, supporting him through difficult times. Blenheim House is the best setting we could have possibly found for him.

Dad lived at Blenheim for a little over 3 years. He was always happy and settled. His care and the affection shown towards him were exemplary. Blenheim understood the man he had become and appreciated the man he had been. His end of life care at this surreal time was superb. Blenheim always went the

My Mum has been living at Blenheim since being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. As her symptoms progressed over the years she has been looked after in an exemplary manner by absolutely everyone throughout and as she is so happy and content, we as a family are happy and content in the knowledge she is experiencing
as full a life as she can. She is in such loving and capable hands.
COVID-19 has been a challenging and difficult time for everyone. The staff at Blenheim have been empathetic and totally professional, keeping me up to date with every change in the home and telephoning me with any personal changes with Mum. It was happily obvious that procedures were already in place for such an event as COVID and Blenheim’s preparedness speaks volumes about their overriding professionalism and desire to give the best possible care for residents and staff.
I cannot express in words the esteem I hold everyone who works at Blenheim. I would thoroughly recommend Blenheim for your loved one.

My mum was admitted into Blenheim one week before the Covid-19 lockdown and therefore we've been unable to see her. This has been distressing for all of us.
The activities team have been outstanding at organising various events to help keep the residents entertained. Mum experienced a swim with penguins
using the virtual reality equipment and we were able to see her enjoying this on Blenheim's Facebook page. The team also organised a Facetime call with Mum, it was so lovely to see her face, happy and smiling.
The activities team at Blenheim go above and beyond, they are clearly passionate about making sure the residents are engaged and happy.

We have been so impressed by the care and support Mum has received in the short time she has been at the home. Due to the national lockdown, we have been unable to visit her or even see the home and her move there came about due to the pandemic. She had been in several hospital wards for assessment
after her illness. Very quickly, we were comforted and our worries were soothed by nothing but kindness and patience at such a difficult time. From the receptionist through to the nurses and carers, we received updates and messages and they gave us time to talk on the phone. It was lovely to see V.E. celebrations and activities on social media. When we managed to arrange a video call we were completely overwhelmed with how well she was looking. The staff helped us with getting her to sign a card for my father's 91st birthday, which they posted and on his birthday last week they arranged another video call for his big day which was wonderful for him. Thank you so very much.

My father has been at Blenheim for 6-months now, it was a very difficult decision to make, but his Parkinson’s made it difficult for him to stay home.
We looked at a couple of other care homes, and Blenheim was by far the best that we saw. Dad has a lovely light room with an en suite bathroom, which
we felt was a necessity.
The staff are very kind, caring and friendly and Dad loves a bit of a joke with them, it keeps him quite chipper.
The food is amazing, Dad starts the day with a delicious cooked breakfast, followed by a tasty lunch, he says he’s often a bit full up come tea time!
We celebrated my birthday and my granddaughters birthday there and both were excellent.
We would have celebrated a couple more there if it wasn’t for this Coronavirus.
We are kept up to date with any health problems that Dad has, even during these tricky times, their care has been outstanding.
My whole family are delighted with the care that Dad receives there and thoroughly recommend Blenheim.

My mother recently celebrated her 102nd birthday at Blenheim House at a very difficult time for all care homes during the lockdown. The Home gave her the most wonderful day and although we were so sad not to be able to be with her, she had a really lovely time. Mum was absolutely thrilled by the whole
thing and phoned me up immediately she returned to her room to tell me about it. A special friend of hers was also brought in to join in, along with the staff - though at a distance of course. Mum said that she was amazed to be 102, living in a Care Home and so happy. I have seen a picture of her celebrating and I wish I could have a slice of the cake - it looks delicious. Thank you so much to the staff at Blenheim House for creating such a wonderful, caring home for my mother.

Hi, I'm Harriette I am the Deputy Manager at Blenheim House and assist our Registered Manager, Caroline, in many aspects of the home. I was previously the Head of Care at the home, and have been in my latest role as Deputy Manager since 2021. Using my Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care and many years of experience, I help to maintain our excellent care standards and support the home in its care of adults with residential, dementia and nursing needs


I am motivated in seeing our residents and staff being engaged, happy and living a quality of life that is meaningful to them. Supporting our staff team and helping them achieve their personal goals is something I am passionate about.

Hi, I'm Ann and I am the Receptionist for Blenheim House Care Home.


I work alongside our lovely teams to keep the communication effective and deliver a first-class service to our Residents, Families and Staff.


Our admin team works across all of our departments to provide a supportive and administrative role which I love as it makes each day different.

Being the Catering Manager at Blenheim House brings me great joy. I take pride in ensuring our residents receive hearty and healthy meals through a stimulating and social dining experience. Our experienced catering team can provide meals for all types of dietary requirements as well as celebrating our residents birthdays with beautifully decorated cakes and a person centred special menu.

I am immensely proud to be working at Blenheim House as the Head Housekeeper. Our housekeeping team ensure each resident has a beautifully maintained room to relax in and we take pride in the whole home looking its very best. We love to learn about each resident and always take the time to chat and brighten their day.

Hi, I am Lorraine and I run the Cashmere Salon here at Blenheim House. As the hair stylist for the home, my role is to meet with each resident and offer them a salon experience to help them feel they're very best.


It's wonderful to work at Blenheim House and I am honoured to meet such wonderful people with amazing lives and stories to tell. Our salon experience is part of our All-Inclusive offer and we also welcome family members to join us in the salon for a truly person-centred experience.

I have a passion for working in the care industry and joined Blenheim House in February 2020, having been an Estates Manager at a Mental Health Hospital in the past. I have strong knowledge and understanding of building and services compliance, Health and safety and experience in construction. I lead a dedicated Maintenance Team in carrying out daily and weekly compliance checks, ensuring our home has a robust safety record whilst making sure the home’s aesthetic and comfort levels remain first class.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cycling and walking our dog, Shylo.
