We are truly grateful for the excellent care our father-in-law receives at The Westbury. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and treat him with dignity and respect. The environment is always clean and welcoming, making it feel like home. It gives us great peace of mind knowing he is in such good
hands. Highly recommended!

From the moment my father arrived at The Westbury Care Home, the care has been exemplary. The staff are helpful, cheerful, respectful and communicative and liaise well with his doctor's surgery on his behalf. That was four months ago and my father has gone from strength to strength, has regained his
appetite (he loves the food!) and tells us he feels safe and content and is treated with dignity. I have had to rearrange my visiting times in order that he can join in the activities, which is lovely!

My dad came to the care home from the hospital with weeks to live. He was bedbound and needed round-the-clock care with his Parkinsons and heart failure. The staff were friendly and caring with a few exceptions, while he didn't always enjoy the food they did their best for him. We did hope he would
be put out in the chair more but that didn't really happen.

Help and kindness shown in sorting out hospital appointment transport for me and my daughter who accompanies me on day appointments at the hospital. Always a nice welcome back from care home staff on my return from hospital. Would love more contact with staff as I am mainly bedbound due to health condition,
and not well enough to attend or enjoy the organised daily social events at the care home. Care home very cosy and clean.

My dad was a resident at the care home for just over a year. During that time he was treated with care and dignity by all members of staff. His family were always greeted with a friendly and professional approach and were always asked if needed anything, even just to talk. When the time approached my
dad received end-of-life care and his wishes were followed when he died. The staff could not have done anything more to help ease any suffering or distress for us and I always felt the care given was like that of an extended family.

All the staff do a first-class job. My daughter is progressing with them despite her deafness. We are pleased that some sign language training has become standard which will help them. This will hopefully help her and anyone with hearing loss she could follow on. Your staff look after her very well.

My mum arrived at The Westbury Care Home in November 2020 she was welcomed and settled in well. She loved being in the well-kept garden. All the staff looked after her well and often said what a lovely lady she was. Unfortunately, my mum passed on Monday 20th February.

Since arriving in 2018, my grandmother has received a high standard of care and support. Our family are so pleased that she is settled and happy. The staff are so positive and interested in her which is lovely to observe. My grandmother thoroughly enjoys the variety of activities and I'm sure these
keep both her mind and body active. I think this is a strength of The Westbury. I really enjoyed watching the band with my grandmother at Christmas. I would highly recommend The Westbury Care Home to prospective residents.

Mum has been here for a year now, and we are happy that she has been well looked after. It's been a challenge for Mum moving from her home of almost 50 years, but she is comfortable and close to us, and we are able to visit easily. All staff have been friendly to us and have been accommodating.

I truly cannot fault the care my dear Dad received from the lovely, hard-working and friendly team at this care home for seven months until he sadly passed away there last night. He loved all the staff who were so caring and attentive towards him and he always appreciated everything that they did for
him. They certainly helped make the last months of his life so happy and our family will always be grateful for this. Thank you so much.

As a Registered Nurse, Theresa has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked at The Westbury for nearly two decades, Theresa closely shares Welford Healthcare's vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Theresa remarked:


“Seeing my Residents happy and healthy, and working with dedicated staff who go above and beyond on a daily basis”


Theresa has also achieved much outside of work, with her proudest achievement being moving from India to the UK on her own, at a young age, to further her career in nursing.


Outside of work, Theresa has two children and enjoys gardening and seeing her friends and family.
