I have very much enjoyed my stay here. There are minor details that could be improved but overall this is a splendid experience. Vegetables are overcooked and watery. The real stars are the staff who go above and beyond the call of duty.

My overall experience of Ladymead is very good. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, and I am confident that Mum is known by every member of the team on a personal level. My mum has been a resident for just over a year, and both she and I have and expect very high standards, and we have
had no reason to challenge this over the period. My mum has made new friends and feels safe, happy and well cared for, which is the most important thing for me.

Ladymead is a very homely and welcoming care home. Mum has been a resident since January, and she really enjoys the brilliant social events and activities. All the staff are very friendly and caring towards residents and family. Mum has settled in very well, and as a family, we are so grateful for her

Mum went to live at Ladymead in November 22, initially just for a short period. Because of family circumstances, we had to find Mum somewhere to go with no notice at all. I first spoke to a member of staff at around 11 am, Mum was visited by the deputy manager at 3 pm and in their care by 5 pm.
Throughout
Mum's stay there everyone was so kind, caring and helpful to her. They looked after her every need with kindness and compassion
As time went on it became apparent that Mum would have to enter end-of-life care, and everyone there was marvellous. Not just to Mum but to family too and nothing was any trouble. They we so kind and caring to us all throughout a difficult time
I would recommend Ladymead to anyone who needs similar care. A lovely group of caring staff who had Mum's best interest at heart every day.

The staff team at Ladymead Care Home are genuinely warm, caring and friendly. They work very well together. The residents benefit greatly from all of this. There is competition for places when they become available, which says a lot. I know that our mum is being very well looked after.

The care Mum received during her time at Ladymead Care Home was exceptional. The staff were so kind and caring to both Mum and myself. Their professionalism was first-class and they helped manage the last few weeks of Mum's life with respect and dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My father was at Ladymead for two weeks for end-of-life care. All the staff were extremely kind and sensitive not only to my father but family members also. They could not do enough for us all, not only were they professional but very caring.

The care my mother received at Ladymead during the last 10 days of her life was excellent. Staff were very attentive to her and showed her real care and compassion. I would highly recommend this facility and would like to thank them for this service.

My mum has been with you since June 2022. We really appreciate the care provided, it is gold standard. The staff are super friendly always open to chat and very importantly, see my mum as an individual, taking the time to look after her in the way that she would wish. Personal touches go a very long

The care provided by the staff at Ladymead was personalised and personable. They went out of their way to befriend my mum and make her stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. We always felt welcome and even when covid restrictions made visits difficult, we were accommodated. There is a real
family atmosphere, which the staff promote with all residents and visitors too. The laughter and singing really helped mum with her anxieties.

I have a friend who has memory problems (dementia) and who is partially sighted. She had recently lost her husband who was her carer and she could no longer remain living by herself.


I began the search for somewhere for my friend to live permanently. The difference with Ladymead was that all the

staff I met, gave me such a warm welcome; from the Receptionist to meeting the Manager, the nursing/qualified staff and all the ancillary people - all of whom make a difference to someone's life. They explained how it could all work for my friend and they were able to answer all my questions. Showed me around the home. There was no pressure to use them though.


My friend moved in a couple of months ago and I can honestly say, she has had all her needs met. They welcomed her into the Ladymead family. She enjoys the meals and all the entertainment/activities. She is now a much happier, content lady. I would recommend Ladymead to anyone.

Because of covid, I have tried my best to give you a true account of Ladymead Care Home. I have only been to my mum's bedroom once, I cannot give a high score on food and drink at this time as I have never been in Ladymead at meal times and due to my mum's illness she cannot communicate with our family
but she definitely looks well fed.

After a year of on/off restrictions it was great to eventually gain access to Ladymead Care Home. During the year of restricted access, other than seeing mum in the conservatory, it was hard to pass judgment internally! Mum always seemed well fed, well looked after and her hygiene seemed to be addressed.
She was/is very responsive to staff members and the staff seem very attentive to her. Once access was granted it was great to be able to actually see mums room, take her out and in general spend more time with mum, either internal or in the garden. A huge thank you to all the staff for what must have been an extremely difficult eighteen months or so.

My husband was left in bed most days, his personal hygiene was questionable, but to give their due, he didn’t get bed sores. All show when we FaceTimed and visited. It was through COVID but we never saw his room. My family had their concerns as well. My husband needed mental stimulation as he couldn’t
talk, double incontinent, could not do anything for himself. He use to cry a lot there, he hated it. He was there a year before I got him moved to an Independent nursing home and he was there from September 2021 until he passed away in January 2022 but those few months there were marvellous, he was never left on his own, he loved all the wonderful staff. My only regret was that he was in Ladymead Wroughton for a year and my family all agree.

I am sad to learn we have not met your expectations, even though we had a number of conversations to ensure we are fully appraised of your husband's preferences. Unfortunately, at the time, the home was at a peak of a COVID outbreak and safety of all our residents was considered in line with the government guidelines. Our team facilitated frequent Facetime calls to ensure, as a family, you remain in touch and able to emotionally support your husband. Our aim is to ensure we learn from each experience and the service and our team will grow into meeting each preference, need and expectation with the usual professionalism

The staff are very friendly and extremely efficient. Mum is very happy and enjoying taking part in the daily activities. Mum has gained weight and rates the food as excellent. I would recommend Ladymead to anyone.

My husband came to Ladymead after spending 7 months between 2 different hospitals. Staff have been very good, excellent with communication, not like the hospital. He spend most of the time in bed and is on peg feeding, so can not comment on food/drink or activities but I do know there is activities
that go on. They seem to be doing a very good job, brain stimulation has improved.
