My father has been at Ladymead for several months and our experiences have been nothing but positive. He is a gentleman of 104 years with many many needs all of which are met. The care he receives is excellent. The staff we have contact with have all been professional and caring.
Ladymead has not
only helped my father but us as a family as we are ageing.

My mother spent the final weeks of her life at Ladymead. The staff and atmosphere of the home were both very professional, caring and created a real family environment. Mum's needs were great and she was very poorly but we knew she was in the right place being loved and cared for.

I came to visit my dear friend yesterday at Ladymead Care Home.
My friend was happy and content.
The staff are courteous, kind, caring and loving to their residents.
They are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
This care home struck me as a lovely environment to be in.

Dad spent five, very happy years living at Ladymead Care Home. Throughout that time he received professional care of the highest quality from all the staff. All of dad's needs were assessed in detail and reviewed frequently. However, he received so much more in support, understanding, conversation and
friendship from every member of staff irrespective of their role.
Dad became part of the Ladymead family and so did we when we visited him. Following Mum's death, Ladymead gave dad a new lease of life which included regular trips out and about locally when he was fit enough. He enjoyed the activities and outside visitors to Ladymead and loved to sit in the garden enjoying the flower displays always regularly updated.
Mental stimulation was important to dad which he received in ample quantities keeping him alert, engaged and positive.
All of dad's family extend our heartfelt thanks to Ladymead Care Home, a very special place which we hold in the highest esteem.

The standard of care (respite/convalescence) provided for my mother was exemplary. From the first contact to the end of her two-week stay, was professional, skilled and above all, extremely attentive and caring. The warmth and expertise of all the staff shines through in everything they do.

To the manager and all Ladymead staff, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loving care of my father. I was unable to travel from the US for his funeral yesterday, but I hear the staff gave him a wonderful send-off and a couple of staff even attended his funeral. Thank you, thank
you, and bless you for your kindness and warm hearted care. He was truly in the best place for the last 2 years of his life. Not only did you and your staff take superlative care of him, you treated every member of the family with your unique and beautiful caring attitudes.

My father has been a resident at Ladymead and unfortunately recently passed away. Members of the family spent the last two weeks at his bedside, and we were able to gain a true insight into the level of care and attention the home provides. I can say from direct experience, therefore, that Ladymead
is an absolutely superb home. All of the staff are dedicated to their patients' comfort and well-being and really do genuinely care for them. Their patience with some of the more confused patients was never-ending. I actually ate many meals at Ladymead and can confirm that the food is excellent. Their support of the family at this difficult time was wonderful: supplying endless cups of tea and biscuits; keeping us informed at every stage of what was going on; helping Father, keeping him comfortable and free of pain to the end. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this care home to anyone looking for a comfortable, caring, well-run home.

My sister has been at Ladymead Care Home for about 18 months. The staff are always kind and considerate to my sister, respecting her dignity and wishes.
I am always included in her care needs and involved with all her needs. Every morning and afternoon, there are always activities going on and a lot
of singers and other entertainers coming to the home.
My sister moved from Reading to be close to her family and I think I definitely chose the correct home for my sister. Even the manager and assistant manager take time for my sister's needs and sit, talk and laugh with her.

My mum is a resident of Ladymead, she is looked after extremely well, the carers are really lovely, friendly and caring and do their best to make my mums stay as comfortable as possible. There are daily activities such as bingo, quizzes etc and my mum is encouraged to join in and not sit on her own,
she especially enjoys the musical entertainment. Cannot praise the staff highly enough for their care for my mum.

My 95 year old Mother-in-law became more frail and determined to die. The staff and management provided intensive care and love.
As she became seriously ill, they nursed her to the last.
All showed love and care for her, way beyond their official duties. She was in the home just short of 3 years in
total and enjoyed her time there. Thank you.

I'm very happy with the way my father is looked after at Ladymead. He is included in all activities as he wants. He was taken on a trip to see Christmas lights at the local outlet centre before Christmas which he enjoyed.

Mum is looked after with excellent service. All the nurses talk to us and mum with her problems, the food is excellent and the entertainment is very good. We came on Christmas Day and the staff made us very happy in the lounge.
Would recommend this home.

My wife was not very well when she came to Ladymead. The staff are very caring, nurses particularly are very experienced, the staff are very kind and compassionate. They are taking care of her very well, and I and my family very pleased with the improvement with her health and mentality. Her mind is
getting better and I can speak to her now sensibly. I do recommend Ladymead to my friends and the taxi drivers that brings me to nursing daily to visit my wife.

My dad passed away after being in the care of Ladymead for the past 9 months. I truly believe that they gave him a better quality of life, care & love for his final months.
The staff came to know and love him and treated him with the dignity he deserved.
It is a very well run care home that I can
100 % recommend. He took part in activities that he would not normally have done, had conversations he wouldn't of been able to have had and it all enhanced his final days.

My sister and myself choose Ladymede nursing home because mum had lived in Wroughton for 53 years and we felt she needed to be in Wroughton. Mum was offered a downstairs room and when we went for a show around the home was clean, the residents that we seen all seemed happy, relaxed and cared for. The
staff were a mixture of qualified nurses and carers also a doctor visited the home once a week and if the need arose mum had access to a doctor in an emergency. The care was good and if mum had any bruises, cuts or falls pictures were taken and put into her file but our mum was so good that she always told us before the staff informed us. The food was very good and cooked on site mum was offered a choice of what she wanted to eat each day. Activities were provided every day of the week for residents who wanted to take part. The hairdresser came in twice a week and mum was able to have her nails painted once a week. A lady also bought her dog in once a week for the residents to pat. Entertainment was also available at different times during the year and trips out to various places. We would like to thank the Manager and all the team for there care and attention to our dear mum during her time spent in Ladymead.
