Dad has been in Park View since last year and they have been excellent. They are kind, caring, efficient and organised. I was caring for dad, but I feel reassured that he is now getting great care from such nice people.

Very pleased with the way my father has been looked after. He has several medical needs and the nurses at the home do a marvellous job. I was caring for my father for the last four years after my mother died and I know how difficult and stressful it can be. Being at Park View has been better for both
my father and me. Knowing he is being cared for and nursed twenty-four hours a day is a good thing all round.

When visiting having shown a negative Covid test and donning a mask, I find my sister in her neatly made-up bed, watching TV. The room is pleasant, warm and tidy. The door is open sp she can see the staff and they can see her. Water is always by the bed though she has to ask someone to help her drink.
The
staff who attend her are kind and friendly. Although she says little she appears content and pain-free. She has a good relationship with her carers. They speak to me if there is a problem. I have no concerns.

Excellent care and compassion and empathy from staff. Good communication and very approachable.
Despite the appearance of the building and limited facilities and some areas of the garden access, the most important targets are being achieved and that is down to the careing staff, many thanks to them

My mother spent three years at Park View. The staff were wonderful, caring for her every need as her dementia progressed. The home was clean and the family were always made welcome.

A private care home employs nurses (not NHS) who are not empowered to offer any NHS treatment without the express provision of visiting a GP (weekly).

Since my mother has been at Park View her health has improved. The nurses and care staff are exceptional. She is well cared for and looks a lot cleaner. Her room is very comfortable with her own TV and allowed to have her own pictures on the wall. We couldn't imagine a better place for her to stay.

My mother, aged 96, moved from a nursing home in Cardiff to Park View in August 2018. She was welcomed and settled very quickly. The staff are very caring and very fond of her. The food is good and varied, and Mum is always clean and well dressed. She enjoys all the musical entertainment which is provided,
and the many celebrations. Family are always welcome too, communication is good and staff are very friendly. Park View isn't luxurious, but that isn't important as the care and atmosphere are excellent.

Dad became a resident in September 2019 after leaving hospital. We specifically chose Park View as my late mother-in-law was nursed here for the last three and a half years of her life, so we were aware of the high standard of care, professionalism and dignity offered. The staff are always happy, smiling
and welcoming and caring towards all of our family. As a family, we are all very happy with the care and support that dad is receiving and for the care and support offered to mum also - it means a lot. Thank you.

Our mother stayed here for the last two weeks before her passing. The care she received was excellent and we could not have been more content with all of the staff. They treated all of our family with great respect and they became part of our family. If anyone is looking for a place for their loved
ones, this is the home to choose. You are able to visit day or night, which we found to suit us all.

My Mother was offered a residency for end of life care. After visiting the Nursing home, it was decided this was our preferred placement for my Mother.
Over the 2 weeks prior to my Mother's passing, we as a family, could not wish for any better place for my Mother to be.
The security was more than
sufficient. It came across as a well run and organised place. The food was of a very high standard, with choices to match.
The staff could not have done more to make my Mother comfortable. They were very attentive to our needs. Very friendly, and the patience of Angels.
All the staff deserve a pat on the back.
I would give Park View a 5-star rating for the care it provided for Mother.
Well done to all the carers and nurses.

From the very first visit when looking for a home for mum to the time mum passed away, we were always made to feel welcome. Mum was looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The atmosphere of the premises was more of a family home rather than an institution.

The staff welcomed both mum and us, her family, with open arms to the home from home that is Park View. They supplied all the practical care needed and more, always approachable and supportive of us all. The home is well staffed who all do their utmost to meet residents' needs, often going the "extra
mile" with her personal care and our involvement.
We were fully confident in the care mum received, which gave us piece of mind when she became very unwell and we couldn't be with her all the time. Mum's sister also became a resident and staff ensured they could spend time together when able. Many at Park View became our friends, so many thanks to you all for everything.
