Rose Cottage has been a lovely, safe, friendly home to my Mother who enjoyed the company of the staff and the residents. She enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of a smaller establishment. she enjoyed sitting in an area with other residents, where she could see the staff walking about doing their daily work.

I highly recommend this home to service users who require assistance and support with their activities of daily living. They provide excellent care and maintain dignity and respect by ensuring that a person-centred care is delivered at all times. They have a fantastic management system and the staff
deliver care in a professional and respectful manner.

Can relax knowing dad is respected and cared for in a dignified professional manner. The staff all work to together to provide for physical and mental needs. I am regularly kept up to date with his needs and staff always find time to talk to me if I have concerns.


His room is always clean and dad

is made comfortable where ever he chooses to sit in communal areas.
His dietary needs are provided for adequately.


Dad participates in most of the activities and is encouraged to do so.
Triangular care is in evidence as is safeguarding.


I am so happy I choose this home for my dad.

My father entered Rose Cottage in August 2017. He has been met with care, compassion and kindness. He is currently 102 and had been living alone since my mother passed away six years ago. It was obviously a very big decision for the family but has proved to be a good decision for Dad. He is happy
and content and joins in with the daily activities. The staff are unfailingly kind to him and very helpful to the family. An excellent care home which can be recommended.

My Mum has been a resident for over a year and is very happy at Rose Cottage, she is often complimentary of the food! My family and I have always found the management and staff to be most helpful and cheerful, which goes a long way in creating a comfortable and homely environment for residents and
welcoming for visitors. We feel relaxed and assured that our Mum is in very good hands.

Very well run nursing home, lovely atmosphere, calm, supportive, happy and nothing too much trouble.
Staff always helpful, thoughtful and friendly both to residents and visitors alike (love my cups of tea)
I'm very happy with my husband being a resident, just knowing the care is always there I can
relax.
I am always informed straight away of any medical issues and if a doctor has been called, also I am always able to discuss any concerns I may have about my husband with staff nurses.

I believe the best decision we made as a family on my Dad’s behalf was to place him in the care of Rose Cottage back in early 2014. Whilst Dad’s deteriorating health in the ensuing 3 years was obviously difficult, the care, nursing support and loving family atmosphere at Rose Cottage were key to his
motivation and aiding his very determined fight against dementia, stroke and disabilities. I know he greatly enjoyed his interactions with the staff at Rose Cottage and I will always be grateful for their help in maintaining as much quality of life for him as possible in the circumstances.


I take great comfort in the fact my Dad lived a long and good life and in his last years, never felt loneliness or uncared for. The latter was in no small part due to Rose Cottage.

Rose cottage has a friendly homely feel as soon as you step through the door and my nan couldn't be happier since she became a resident there. Staff are always friendly and attentive. The management and staff provide an excellent service and you are always greeted in a friendly yet professional way
and residents are treated with respect. They provide a variety of activities and when possible visits and days out. Special occasions like Christmas Day has a lovely atmosphere which makes it a special time for the residents and visitors alike.

Nan loves it at Rose Cottage. The staff are wonderful and look after the residents very well.
They have activities for all the people which all of them love.
The Cottage is in a quiet area of Swindon and is always very clean.
