Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Handsworth Wood, Robert Harvey House gives care and support for those who require nursing care. Especially equipped for individuals living with dementia, all 46 ensuite spacious bedrooms allow privacy in a calming and caring environment.

The team is motivated by a desire to make a positive impact. They work hard to create a safe, homely environment where every resident is treated with dignity, compassion and respect. BCOP is a charity so all profits are re-invested into the homes.

There are several communal areas including lounges, quiet spaces, a large garden and terrace, laundry and an on-site hair salon. Additionally the home has its own Sensory Street - a replica of vintage 1950s shops which residents, along with their families and friends, can use for reminiscence. Residents can make use of the spa bath, which features mood-lighting and tropical murals, to relax.

Residents can take part in a variety of activities, which are planned according to their interests and hobbies. Residents are supported to have maximum choice about their care and support.

My father has been in this home now for 18 months and we can honestly say he is well looked after and cared for, which is a great comfort to our family.
The staff are lovely, always friendly and take the time to have a chat and update us on how my father has been.
The place is welcoming, bright and
has a lovely outdoor garden area, complete with animals to stimulate the residents.

Robert Harvey House is just fantastic and I tell anyone who will listen to me all about it. The staff are all very friendly and caring. The accommodation is kept clean and spotless and the bedrooms are as good as any quality hotel. The food was of a high standard and there was always a choice for the
residents. Mum was a resident from August 2019 to November 2019 when she sadly passed away. My dad, my sister and I are so grateful for the care, attention, dignity and respect all the staff gave to mum throughout her stay and especially during her final hours when they came into her room to say 'good night' and give her a kiss before they went home. They knew mum wouldn't be there in the morning. The staff also cared for the three of us during mum's last hours providing us with food and drinks throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we will never forget them. I will always recommend Robert Harvey to anyone looking for a nursing home. Simply the best!

My mother arrived at Robert Harvey House in mid-November 2019, to have an assessment. Since that date, Mom has received what I can only describe as outstanding service. Every visit I have made my Mom has looked very clean, her hair had been attended to and the staff, who I can't praise enough, tended
to every need with courtesy and professionalism. the care is of the highest standard. Absolutely outstanding, I would recommend this home to anyone.

Robert Harvey House is a wonderful care home. The management and all the staff are fantastic. The care and support that they have given my husband and myself are truly excellent. One word I can tell you is Robert Harvey House and all the team are outstanding.

For over two years my life long friend has been a resident here. I have no doubts that he is really well cared for. The staff are all like an extended family who always makes me and his family welcome.

I cannot fault this excellent home for its care and quality of accommodation. The staff are empathetic and caring to a fault. The home is clean, the food is good and carried and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming a true home from home.

My mom has been happy here (EAB bed). All staff from management, nurses, carers, laundry and activity are excellent in doing their job. My mom will miss this very friendly place where she has made friends. I myself am very impressed with all the workers here. Thank you to you all for looking after my

Finding Robert Harvey was an amazing blessing.
My mother had been in two previous homes and the experiences were very painful.
I feel if she was anywhere else she would have passed away by now but the love, care and attention she receives from the staff of Robert Harvey had kept her alive.

My Uncle was made very welcome by the staff at Robert Harvey.
His ensuite accommodation was clean, spacious, well-maintained and very comfortable with WC, shower, ample wardrobe and dressing table and drawer space.
The lounge and dining room were light and airy.
The staff - carers, caterers, entertainers
and management were extremely competent and professional in the delivery of their part of the service.

Robert Harvey House have looked after both my mother and my father over the past 5 years.
Both were very happy there and treated well. As we were only able to visit at weekends it was always difficult to obtain information from weekend staff.
A classic was when my mother died and they didn't bother
finding my mobile number from her file when they got no response from my landline number.
I had to call the morning after to be told she had died at 2am!

Excellent care and support during stay in enhanced assessment bed, following time in hospital. Good link between home and social worker/occupational therapist/physiotherapist.

Well, where do I start, this place is absolutely fantastic. The support factor there is amazing and meets all requirements and needs. Clean, friendly and just outstanding, I couldn't have asked for a better place for my grandfather to have been in. All the staff are absolutely great, especially the
nurse, she was outstanding in helping with my grandfather and for this, I am eternally grateful to the people that work at Robert Harvey House, thank you so much.

My Husband stayed at Robert Harvey for four weeks for assessment prior to moving to a permanent care home. The care he received was of a very high standard, the home was well furnished and clean and all the staff were friendly, kind and helpful at all times. If it had been closer to home I would have
been more than happy for my Husband to remain there. The food was excellent, served really hot and a carer was always on hand to feed my Husband as he was unable to feed himself. All in all, I highly recommend Robert Harvey and thank them very sincerely for all their care during our time with them. Whenever we left my Husband we felt confident he would be safe and well cared for.
