The overall improvement is outstanding. The staff seem more responsible. I was not at all happy when my wife was admitted with general situations. Thank you for upgrading in all respects. Apart from food quality, this was always excellent.

We are now focussed on improving the activity provision and on the back of hearing what our residents wanted, have set up some regular clubs which are advertised on our Activities Board and in our newsletter. We've got some fun events coming up and will be working with Community partners on various gardening projects. We are progressing changes within the environment to create a craft area and setting up a wildlife observation station and potting shed in the conservatory. My husband is looked after well and I am kept informed about issues when I visit or by phone.
On visiting, I am always welcomed by whichever member of staff is opening the door. They show interest in me as well as my husband. The atmosphere is always happy. The carers are always busy and often under
great pressure but remain pleasant and courteous. My husband is now settled in and generally happy staying here.

In the 3 years my husband has been in the care he has been treated with dignity and understanding as at times he can be quite difficult, overall I am happy with his care.

My mum has been at The Beaufort for some time but I can honestly say that over the last few year the home has been brilliant. From a proactive leader in the home manager and brilliant admin staff that always greet you with a smile, but most importantly are the carers that look after my mum. Always so
cheerful and happy to attend to my mum. Always the same staff to provide continuity in care. They are so aware of my mum's needs and situation and I always feel she gets holistic care to meet all her needs. The kitchen staff always try and provide personalised meals to accommodate my mum and a daily menu is available for all the residents. I always feel I can approach the staff and I'm listened to with any concerns. The home is warm and friendly and I would recommend anyone to trust their loved ones to be cared for at The Beaufort.

My mum stayed in this nursing home for the last three months and passed away last week. We can’t thank the manager and her team enough for the care and dedication they gave to Mum, especially over the last few weeks. The manager constantly fought the battle on our behalf to make sure my mum got on the
right medication to ease her pain. You can see the staff are all working hard to improve the home and it’s lovely now to see the daytime activities growing with the lady's perseverance. Mum loved all that.
Thanks once again, Mum was definitely in the best place at the end.

The manager, nurses and all staff are caring and compassionate people. You can tell they genuinely want to make Beaufort a lovely place for their residents to live. Nothing is ever too much trouble and frequently ask me how they can make my mum happy and contented. Since the new manager started there
has been a huge improvement in the feel of the home. They offer lots of activities for the residents and try to get as many as able, to join in. All the time there is close monitoring of residents' health by the nurses. All in all it's a friendly happy environment and they take lots of pleasure in seeing happy residents. My mum has dementia and I have seen a massive improvement in her mental state because of the dedication of the staff. I'd like to thank each and every one of them from the bottom of my heart. They have also supported me when I've struggled emotionally. I can't praise them enough. They are currently making a lovely bar for the residents for celebratory occasions.

Since the manager has been managing the care home (taken over from the previous manager), I feel there is a much better feel to the home. More assertive staff and smells better! Now there is another manager, she is absolutely brilliant and this home deserves a higher rating.

So pleased to see the carpet, which was very smelly and soiled, has been removed from my friend's room and replaced with lovely laminate flooring. It looks and smells so much fresher. Well done to the new manager.

My mother came to The Beaufort Care Home in April, and I have nothing but good things to say about it and the staff. My mother was treated with dignity and respect and nothing was too much trouble, she was only a resident there for 3 months but the staff very quickly warmed to her. Many thanks from

During lockdown, the care of my nan has been exceptional. The team have worked so hard for us to keep contact throughout, working extra hours during this difficult time. Contact with family is so important for my nan's mental health so the fact that a clear line of communication has been maintained

What a fabulous place! My father is very poorly and they went all out for his birthday, fabulous staff. We had a buffet, cake, balloons. All done by the home without request. Such amazing people! Activity coordinator is probably one of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life! We will remain

My friends birthday party staff put on an excellent buffet and made lovely chocolate and strawberry cake too well impressed.

Beaufort is not a care home but a home that cares.
Staff showed care and compassion to mum over the two years she lived at Beaufort but in particular, the last five days of mum's life were such a difficult time but helped by the wonderful staff who cared for mum and supported her family.
