We apologise that you feel your loved one had a poor experience in the home and that our previous manager did not respond accordingly to your concerns. We would always expect that concerns are acted on accordingly to ensure all of our residents receive a high standard of person-centred care and that loved ones feel confident and trust the care that we provide. Our staffing levels are always safe and worked out in accordance with the dependency needs of our residents. We continually work with our team to make improvements in all aspects of support and care. Hi Samantha, thanks for coming in to see me, it was useful to discuss your review and confirm that following investigation no clinical points could be upheld. We were able to demonstrate that blood sugars had been high as opposed to low, with no weight loss noted, that food stock was plentiful and snacks were available 24/7. We acknowledged that mum was fussy about food so have asked her to meet with the chef, and that staff would continue to offer 3 choices of food and drink at least 4 times daily. I said that I sample meals most days and that you would review our 28 day menu. As for smells, we already have ordered new corridor flooring as part of our £500,000 refurbishment plan following the takeover, as for the room smell we spoke to your mum today, she is reluctant to shower more than once per week and would prefer her room not to be cleaned, we will of course continue to seek her consent daily and do our very best to help.

Marie does regular work with Capital Care as she enjoys working for the company and is currently covering at Evedale Care Home until a permanent manager commences.
Marie believes that every individual must be treated with respect and dignity in everything that we do and is a strong advocate for ensuring that care is given as the resident would wish.
She says that Evedale has a very strong and committed care team, who reflect the values of the company, whether providing care, cleaning or preparing food.
She continues to work with the team to ensure that high-quality care is provided at all times.

Kris is the deputy manager at Evedale and previously worked in the home as a senior carer. Kris is a qualified 'Care Home Assistant Practitioner' and uses his knowledge and skills daily in leading the team.
Kris is always smiling and laughing and is loved by our residents and their families.
Originally from Poland, Kris has lived in The UK for 10 years and is very happy living in Coventry and working at Evedale.
He is dedicated to his work and the home and always strives to achieve the best care for all of our residents.

She is the first person to greet you when you come through the door and also on the phone.
