Waterside Care Home, situated in the village of Tipton, close to Dudley, provides personalised nursing care to older people.

Each member of the professional care team is there to help you or your loved one settle into life at Waterside. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector, the friendly home manager leads the team to deliver the kindest possible care to residents, taking the time to learn about each resident’s individual hobbies and interests and helping them to live an active and fulfilling life.

In addition to the comfortable living areas and en suite bedrooms, inside the home, Waterside boasts a selection of specially designed dining areas that provide the perfect space to share meals with fellow residents, or family and friends. On those sunny summer days, the outdoor spaces are the ideal spot for some alfresco dining and the catering team works hard to ensure that each meal is an enjoyable experience for every resident and visitor to the home.

My grandmother was brought into the intermediate care section at Waterside on the 1st of March, following a very stressful stint at hospital. My nan entered Waterside and was treated with care and dedication from the beginning.


Over her almost two month stay she has battled lows alongside supportive

staff who have left family members at ease knowing she is in safe hands. My nan is leaving Waterside the bubbly lively individual she once was and we could not have got there without their help.

Speaking on behalf of my brother he is well cared for and very happy living in Waterside, in the past my sister was in care at Waterside now deceased and was quite happy there. I myself went into respite at Waterside for three weeks and cared for really well. I rate this the best home around this area.

My father was well looked after during his stay at Waterside. Staff were very attentive and offer a very good level of service. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. The food was very good and nutritious.

I can only say, the people in the home made my stay so enjoyable. I miss my home so much, all the staff made me feel at home. The carers, cleaners, canteen staff and everybody made my stay very comfortable. I thank Bupa for the marvellous homes. I am very grateful.

Could not have wished for better care for myself and my family. Thank you. (P.s. My nan was very well looked after and very pleased with all the staff. Even when I was unwell while visiting nurses took the time and trouble to make sure I was OK. So from all of us- Thank you!)

Never had any dealings with care homes before so did not know what to do or what to expect from the day my aunt arrived at Waterside Care Home everyone was very helpful, they treated my aunt with respect and did everything for her, knowing she was in a safe environment being looked after put myself
and family's mind at ease.

Room was very good, kept clean and the food was very good. Staff very caring and went out of the way to help. Found a way of helping with leg problem which made it a lot better. Only problem was that some washing went astray.

We the family would like to thank all the staff at Waterside for he care my mother has received during her rehabilitation. She's expressed her own thanks at the help and attention she's received at all times. I'm sure this care has speeded up her recovery.

Found it difficult at first to settle in and adjust. Staff treated me very respectfully. One carer assistant was particularly outstanding. The degree of improvement (mentally and physically) since coming here has been marvelous.
