Situated in a peaceful suburb of Solihull, the purpose-built home offers homely yet modern and comfortable accommodation. All bedrooms are pleasantly decorated with direct access to the gardens

Food at Ardenlea Court consists of a varied nutritious menu. Cold alternatives and light bites are always available, as well as homemade cakes and mid-morning teas and coffees.

A varied programme of activities includes film mornings in the cinema room and ever popular Pets as Therapy dog visits. All activities are organised to suit residents’ abilities and interests. Ardenlea Court boasts its own authentic pub aptly named the Court Jester, where residents enjoy sitting down with a drink and socialising.

They hold weekly pub quizzes which are a favourite for many residents. With many residents having travelled the country by train during their childhood for holidays, they have built their own "Court Express", where they can, through the assistance of video, virtually travel anywhere in the world! And to complete the experience they also have the Station Café where residents can enjoy a drink and cake.

I came to Ardenlea Court Care Home from hospital and I felt I had come home. I am in a lovely little room which is immaculate, cleaned every day. The care and carers are excellent nothing is too much trouble. I shall miss the home tremendously. I feel as is I have made some new friends. I have to mention
physiotherapy which has been first class and very supporting.

99% of your staff were friendly helpful and efficient. The atmosphere was good. Only one staff member seemed lacking. Asked for flannel which she didn't get and heard that on nights she didn't pull her weight. The chef always provided excellent food. Room was of a high standard.

Apprehensive about the home and worried I would not walk again. But the kindness, support and encouragement from everyone gave me confidence and spurred me on.
Care was excellent and sympathetic to my needs. I never felt anything was too much trouble. Everyone was so kind and always had a smile.

I was moved to Ardenlea Court from the hospital. My husband and I would like to say that the staff are excellent. The food is lovely. My room was very clean and tidy. I would recommend Ardenlea Court to everybody. Keep up the good work.

I have visited the home daily since Monday 7th August and have been particularly impressed by the kindness and care shown to residents by the events organiser. She is light-hearted and happy in her contact with everyone. She is keen to encourage residents to participate in activities - essential to
keeping people upbeat and optimistic in their outlook!


Many of the staff are helpful and very pleasant too. Many thanks to them.

I have enjoyed being in Ardenlea for my rehab. I have been well treated mostly and well fed. My room has always been well cleaned and with little fuss. A very enjoyable stay with helpful staff.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support my mother, of 91, had at Ardenlea Court during her recent stay, after a fall at home. The staff were wonderful - caring and kind at all times and they helped to return my mother to independence once again with their encouragement and support. Ardenlea
Court has a happy and welcoming atmosphere and the residents also benefit from an excellent activities calendar, particularly very uplisting musical entertainment to lift the spirits. Thank you Ardenlea.

I have spent two weeks here. I find all staff easy to approach and talk to. If assistance is needed urgently, they are with me very quickly. I find the place very clean and tidy at all times. They are ready to help me wash and dress and don't mind if personal requests are made, such as washing lower
half of body, in my case lower legs, to apply cream given by the doctor to cure very dry flaky skin. I would recommend this home to anyone, as service here is first class.

My hobbies outside work are playing guitar, painting and I also like to take part in voluntary work with children.

Previous to Bupa I worked as a nurse in a polish ophthalmological hospital.

I like my role as I can use my own personal strengths every day to help residents. I leave work each day and feel that I’ve had a positive impact on at least a few residents that day. This and the lovely feedback we get from residents and relatives makes my job so rewarding.


I like Ardenlea Court in particular as Nirmal is a brilliantly supportive and fun colleague, and all team members help to support activities where needed. This creates a great working atmosphere in the home.


Outside of work, I am a huge football fan, and supporter of Liverpool FC, so watching football is my favourite hobby. I am also a big animal lover, I love cats and dogs equally but hope to adopt a rescue dog with my husband in the near future.

I enjoy working at Ardenlea Court and have been working for Bupa for the last 12 years. Previously I worked as a Kitchen Assistant.

Previously I worked in retail for 3 years, which I loved as I got to meet loads of different people, but wanted a career change and decided I would like to be more involved with the social care industry as I like helping people, so when I got the receptionist role here at Ardenlea Court it meant so much to me.


I love being a receptionist and working at Ardenlea Court as I get to greet/meet visitors and different types of staff as the first point of call.


I also really enjoy helping the residents and staff by brightening up their day to day life by making them smile.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family, shopping and travelling.
