This purpose-built modern home provides relaxing social areas and large landscaped gardens. Bedrooms are fitted with a TV, telephone point and 24-hour call system. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and a laundry service is available. Residents are able to personalise rooms with furniture and other personal items.

Fresh homemade food is served every day, and residents can enjoy healthy snacks, homemade biscuits and cake, tea and coffee, smoothies and juices throughout the day.

My mother spent 20 months in Anville Court where she was treated with respect and dignity. The staff work very hard and are dedicated to the comfort and well-being of their residents. I will never forget the kindness of the very special group of people who run the Anville Court Care Home.

My mother has only been a resident for a short time. The environment is friendly and to date, I am happy with the personal care of my mother. My mother's bedroom could do with redecoration as on one wall it is evident the radiator is blowing dirt up the wall. It is early days but at the moment I would
only criticise the care of my mother's clothing, although clean the washing of them leaves some of them ruined, more care needed with laundry as this can be very distressing for relatives.

A first-rate service was provided for my father in his last 3.5 months of life after palliative surgery for colon cancer. He also had a very weak heart.
He had complex needs but was psychologically sharp to the end. Palliative care was excellent.
The staff were kind and helpful. We were given notice
when the end was near and were able to be there when he died.
Overall the people were first rate and kind and attentive. Care was very good.
My wife and I will never forget what they did for us. They are still in our minds.
A special group of people.
They also allowed our Italian greyhound to visit, and he provided much comfort for my father over the time he was there and was with him at the end.
A heartfelt thanks. What you did will never be forgotten.

Looks ok on the outside, but don't be fooled by the swarmy staff..mom was in there for a short while(thank god) and the standard of care was very poor!! On several visits, mom was in bed and the emergency call button was on the floor near the window. I complained numerous times and just got false apologies.
On one occasion I pressed the button and no one came for 27 minutes.
Mom died in there two days ago and I went to collect her belongings today and was told by the nurse"your mother had a terrible death!! as she had no medication??

When we had to look for care for our relative, it seemed like a daunting task. I must say when we walked into Anville Court we just knew he was gong to be well looked after. The staff are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble. I have never met anyone as kind and caring as the manager, he feels so
at ease living at Anville Court, he says he feels like he's just gone home and all of his new friends have come round for a cuppa. Just fantastic, I'm thinking of booking my room now, ready for me in a few years time!

My mother has only been at Anville Court for ten days, but the staff have ensured that she has settled in better than we expected.

I had both mom and dad staying at Anville Court Care Home . Dad was paralysed from the neck down and needed total care with everything. Mom had advanced dementia and could be quite difficult.
The staff at Anville Court Care Home were amazing. The way they looked after and treated my parents could
not be faulted especially as they both neared the end of their lives.
I could not have asked for a kinder group of people thanks to all of them.,

My mother-in-law was in Anville Court Care Home for just over two years with dementia. The carers were amazing to her until she passed away in July. My father-in-law was also in Anville Court Care Home until October 2015 until he passed away too.
Amazing carers and staff god bless them all.

My friends has only been at this home for only three weeks, then sadly passed away. I can honestly say that she in this time was treated with loving care and dignity. The caring staff were so kind and compassionate to her, professional at all times. Letting the family stay as well really helped.

My Uncle came into Anville Court on respite and loved it that much, he ended up staying, all I can say is that they have made a real difference to our uncle and the family.
We would not wish for him to be anywhere else.

I would highly recommend Anville Court to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are of a high standard and very clean. The staff are helpful and you can see they care about the welfare of the residents. It is also evident that the manager is committed
to providing a safe, comfortable environment for the residents, but both her and her staff pay particular attention to each individual residents needs, it is a joy to see.
The facilities are very good, lovely light dining rooms and day rooms overlooking lovely gardens. The food I'm told by my Nan is lovely, and the hair salon appears to be a hit with the residents. Overall we are glad we found such a lovely place where my Nan is being well cared for.

We have found Anville Court to be an excellent care home. The staff are friendly and helpful. The manager is exceptional, approachable, knowledgeable and she and her staff care about the resident's welfare. The facilities are good, day rooms, dining rooms, hair salon, a bar and a tea room. It has lovely
gardens with an area where children can play.
The food is of a good standard, lovely homely meals. Regular events for the residents and families to enjoy. This home offers peace of mind. I would highly recommend.

Job Title: Registered Care Home Manager

Joined: 2022

My name is Kelly Richardson and I am the Manager of Anville Court Nursing Home.


I began my nursing career in 1996 when I joined the Army as a Health Care Assistant and went on to qualify as a Registered Nurse in 2006 at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine in Birmingham. I served multiple operational tours during my 14 years in the Army and left to join the NHS in 2010 to take on a new challenge. From there I developed into Management and have loved it ever since.


I have very high standards and a passion for elderly care and Dementia and I Pride myself on person-centred care as a Nurse which is why I went on to become a Nurse Manager.


I aim for all our Residents to have the best Quality of life whilst living at Anville court including meaningful activities and daily person-centred care.
