Built in 1848, the accommodation offers parkland views and 30-acre grounds. Within the home there are also many activities to enjoy through out the year (including visits from external partners), bar nights, movie nights, BBQ and other outdoor and indoor events.

Months ago a shop owner expressed her satisfaction at the care at Bricklehampton Hall and I made a mental note. Asking around, this home has a high reputation.
Sadly at short notice, my mum needed care at the end of her life. She did not want to go in but the location and the friendliness of care
staff were impressive and she settled well. Her condition needed quite a bit of care to position her and staff were attentive to this. As an ex-nurse specialist, I have many years of nursing issues and if I had any worries or concerns, these were addressed. Having qualified nurses in situ means injections can be given promptly rather than waiting for district nurses.
A special mention to the maintenance and cleaning staff who were so friendly and efficient. Bricklehampton Hall may not be the cheapest but it would be worth twice as much. My mum had dignity and peace and happiness at the end in a very difficult death. The GP's were also exceptional. I recommend this place highly.

My husband has been a resident for 17 months, the first impression when arriving, beautiful large house and grounds are very well kept. The staff are kind, helpful and always cheerful. The home smells nice. My husband is well groomed, clothing very clean, rooms regularly cleaned good food, lovely sweet
trolley, plenty of activities and the staff always happy to transfer residents to a wheelchair to take out. Just sometimes short staffed weekend afternoons and staff try utmost to settle residents. My husband settled well. I am very happy with the care.

I cannot find fault with the home or the excellent staff who have always been extremely helpful and caring towards my mother. I thoroughly recommend Bricklehampton Hall Nursing Home to all of my friends and family.

My Mother-in-Law was admitted to Bricklehampton from hospital in April, sadly she died in June but her short stay was a very happy experience for her and the family. Her care was second to none and the end of life care that she had was excellent and meant that we did not have to move her again to a
hospital which would have been traumatic for her and us.

I look after the finances and home maintenance at Bricklehampton and I am usually the first point of contact for anyone looking for a placement here. My background is mainly service sector work from plumbing & heating to roofing and facilities management. I ran my own business for almost 20 years so hopefully I have learned the skills required for juggling lots of different and varied tasks at once.


This is my first time working in the care sector but I am thoroughly enjoying the role. I like to get involved with the residents on a personal level and help out with group activities and functions. I have a passion for arts and baking, both of which have come in handy with our 'Supper Club' meals, quite contemplation zone and 'Days out' days.
