There are truly no words that can fully express our immense gratitude for the extraordinary care and compassion you and your team showed to my relative as he approached the end of his life. The love and attention you provided not only ensured he received the highest level of care but also made us, his
family, feel supported and embraced at any hour, day or night. Because of your kindness and dedication, he was able to pass peacefully, surrounded by warmth and dignity. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything. Our family will be forever grateful, and we send all our love and thanks to you.

My father was transferred to Glenfield House Nursing Home from hospital really poorly but as soon as he was made comfortable in his lovely room surrounded by his items from home he started eating and smiling, he just became calm, relaxed and happy. Dad was there for just three weeks and in that short
time it felt like a loving family looking after him, this has given us some very special final memories with Dad, he passed away in his sleep, snuggled up in his lovely comfy bed.

My brother is settled and happy and appreciative of all that the staff do for him. It is clear from what I see on my visits that staff are caring and attentive to all residents. I have no experience of medical matter at the home other than what I have been told. I cannot comment on the value for money
as I do not know the figures involved.

I am very happy with the care my mom receives at Glenfield. The staff are very kind and caring and very professional. Mom couldn't be better cared for and is very happy and content. There are always lots of activities and something going on and she has made new friends both with the residents and staff
who genuinely care about her welfare. The home is kept very clean and tidy and the meals are varied with lots of choice. The management are always helpful and very friendly and will answer any questions we have. I would say that I can't think of anywhere I'd rather Mom would be and can rest assured she is being well cared for.

Overall I have been happy with the care my mum has received over the last 3.5 years at Glenfield House Nursing Home. The staff are attentive to her needs and her dietary requirements are met. The courtyard area is a great amenity in good weather and Mum enjoys sitting outside. It's a shame that there's
no path for wheelchair users around the grassed area at the rear of the home. This would create an alternative outside space for residents and their visitors.

My brother has been a resident of Glenfield for more than 4 years now with advanced dementia and other health complications and I could not have asked for a better place for him to be, especially as I live too far away to see him often.
The home coped with Covid really well and they always keep me
informed of any changes to his circumstances or health.
Apart from the high standards of cleanliness and healthcare which is apparent, the most impressive thing for me is the genuine care of the staff, many of whom have been there for his entire residency, for both me and my brother. They are attentive, kind and so friendly - I am so grateful to always feel that he is well looked after.

Our mother has advanced dementia and sadly doesn't recognise my brother or myself. On occasions when we visit she can become agitated and a member of staff always manages to calm her down quite quickly. We have nothing but praise for the staff at Glenfield and we are confident that Mom is getting the
best care possible.

My mother has been a resident at Glenfield for the past 18 months and I am delighted with the care she receives. The staff are plentiful, helpful, friendly and genuinely care about all their residents. Staff are all familiar faces, so as a relative you get to build a relationship with them. The management
team are approachable and actively involved with the residents too. The activities and entertainment that take place are brilliant and well thought out - the summer fayre was a particular highlight. The home is kept clean and the food is good with extra 'treats' available throughout the day. The well-kept outdoor area is a delight on a sunny day and it's lovely to see all the residents enjoying time outside. I couldn't wish for my mum to be in a nicer place. Knowing she is looked after and well cared for is all I can wish for.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I like that the home is a family-run business that takes a lot of pride in the home who is very approachable and has a 'hands-on' approach to looking after its residents.
There seems to be a good standard of medical coverage from the local doctors' surgery and within
the home itself.
The home has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the fact that staff sometimes take residents for an outing is over and above what I expected.

Mum has been at Glenfield House since February 2023 and is very happy there. For the 2 years prior to that Mum was in and out of hospital constantly, some stays in hospital were up to 3 months at a time. It became impossible for Mum to remain at home with carers and myself visiting. The first care home
Mum stayed in didn't suit her and she was unhappy, on moving to Glenfield House Mum hasn't looked back! Mum has had no hospital stays since moving to Glenfield House, her medication and skin care (Mum has suffered from whole-body eczema since childhood) has been expertly managed meaning that there have been no infections that have warranted hospitalisation. Mum is frail but wants to be involved in 'doing' activities and has enjoyed various crafting activities, planting in the courtyard garden, sewing, card making, pot decorating and thoroughly enjoys singing along with some of the entertainers. The nursing home has a lovely family feel and it is a happy experience visiting Mum there.

We obviously worried about moving mom into residential care but we know, that even with complex health needs, she has the best quality of life and care at this stage of her life at Glenfield. She is secure and comfortable and all the staff treat her with kindness and respect. The manager, and her staff,
go above and beyond with Mom's care and as regular visitors to the home, we can confirm that they are welcoming and approachable.
We are pleased we picked Glenfield.

All the staff are very supportive and very helpful in looking after my Mum and my husband's Auntie.

My father has been at Glenfield since June 2021 and I couldn't think of a better place to look after his needs since having his stroke. He loves every member of staff and so do the rest of our family. Even though he wishes he was back at home, when we ask where would he be if he couldn't be home, he
always says Glenfield he loves his room and the garden. The only thing he isn't too keen on is the food, not salted, but that is trivial. My mother and I feel at peace that he is well looked after and given his dignity. Thank you Glenfield House.

Mom has lived here for over 2 years and is really happy.
Kind, considerate staff and she receives the Nursing care that she requires.
Mom loves music and entertainment so regular entertainment is something that she enjoys.
Also, the in-house hairdresser, who is reasonably priced, provides a service

Management and all the staff that I see when I visit, are always very friendly, supportive and helpful. Mom's room is always clean and tidy and as a family, we feel Mom is receiving good care. The home feels clean and has a nice atmosphere.

I have found that the staff are cheerful and friendly and the care they give to the residents is excellent, the carers seem to take it in turns sitting and chatting to residents so all have a friendly face and natter in the day.
My friend over the last year has improved heath and seems happy and contented.
The
last 2 visits have been especially good and we enjoyed listening to a trio of live singers earlier in the month.
The admin department have helped when I have needed letters and information for those dreaded forms you are required to fill in.
The rooms are kept clean tidy and overall we are well impressed with all aspects at Glenfield.
