My dad lived at Herons Park for three and a half years. Throughout that time, he received care of the highest quality. When visiting in the lounge and dining room, I saw nothing but patient, kind and respectful care to all of the residents. Dad was a very dependent resident, and his care was excellent.
The food always looked and smelt delicious, and the home is consistently immaculately clean. I cannot praise it highly enough.

Mother was admitted into Herons Park on 8th October 2019, and unfortunately passed away on 4th November 2019. Her 4 weeks residence were, undoubtedly, the highest quality of care which could have been given. All members of staff throughout the differing roles were so considerate, caring and assisting
to us as a family also. A very pleasurable experience during a very traumatic time.

A very warm and welcoming home, with a very good and friendly team. Nursing staff and caring staff are very professional and courteous. The only downturn on our point is we couldn't get our mother in this home earlier.

My husbands last 15 weeks of life we unpleasant but, he was lucky in having such kind, caring, professional people to look after him. He was treated with respect and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and the quality of nursing was excellent. As a family, we were looked after,
considered and also, fed very well! A team of staff to be proud of. Thank you so much for everything you did for us.

The home was always extremely clean and well-managed. Both the residents' personal rooms and the communal areas were bright and cheerful. Activities arranged for the residents were varied, residents were happy and the food was good. Especially in the last few weeks before her death, mum received very
professional and attentive care, especially from the nursing staff, who were genuinely concerned for her comfort and did their best to make her last days as pleasant as possible.

First impression when walking into reception was a fresh smell and as if entering a hotel. Everywhere was clean and fresh. All staff are extremely friendly and seemed very efficient. They immediately made a point of knowing my mother's likes and dislikes and encouraged her to join in the activities.
They
had the patience to understand her dementia coupled with the nursing care required for her cancer. The rooms were clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. When an emergency was indicated staff and management descended upon the room within 10-15 seconds - very impressive. Our family were looked after as much as my mother and made the whole end of life process much easier for us. It was very like spending the last moments in my mother's home.
The staff knew when they were needed and when to give the family space and time to be alone with her in her final hours.

My aunt passed away on February 17th and the care to both my aunt, myself and the family members was second to none. We were all supported physically, emotionally and spiritually. Nothing was too much trouble. We were always satisfied with the care over the last 14 months but during the last 2 weeks,
the staff surpassed themselves. They all, including maintenance and cleaning staff as well as carers and nursing staff, catering and admin deserve to be very proud of themselves. This is how care should be.

Before finding Heron's Park my father-in-law had been at a couple of other nursing homes but we kept moving him until we found a home where he was happy. That place was Heron's Park! He was genuinely happy and well cared for here.
He had a good rapport with the staff, he enjoyed the food and he
made new friends. We were also impressed with the way that the GP and nursing staff kept changing his treatments in an effort to treat his various health problems and give him as good a quality of life as possible. I know that they were on the ball about calling the GP whenever it was needed and also the paramedics when his health worsened.
Heron's Park has always appeared clean and tidy when we visited. It's purpose built so my father-in-law could get up and ride around the building in his powered wheelchair. I know he was encouraged to get up and socialise each day but not forced to if he didn't feel like it. It really put our minds at rest with us living so far away.

In 2008 when we visited all nursing homes within a 10-mile radius of Kidderminster, Herons Park excelled in every department and so it continued to do so for the eleven years my mother-in-law had the grace to be there.
She loved all the staff and they loved her and she was happy and contented from
onset to the end of her life. Absolutely outstanding.

Herons Park has been my cousin's residence for 2 years until unfortunately, she passed away Nov 18. The home has been exceptional in caring for my cousin, the staff are all amazing. The food was always excellent and any dietary requirements were always met. They gave my cousin and the other residents
lots of love and attention. There was always some entertainment going on in many forms. Visitors were always made most welcome and you could go at any time. An excellent service all round.

My father arrived early October for end of life care. The nursing home provided an excellent standard of care for Dad, giving us a month of quality time and making memories with him that we really didn't expect to have. At the end of his life, they provided a high level of care with thoughtfulness and
compassion to him and the family. We can not thank them enough.

I couldn't have wished for a better place for our mom to recuperate after her fall. The service and staff are second to none. All staff members know exactly what they are doing at all times of the day and are extremely professional. Not only this, they are so caring, helpful, friendly, kind and entertaining
for everyone's needs regardless of the care requirements.


This is a first class care accommodation that suits all levels of care packages and we have felt so comforted by the attention to everyone's needs by all staff members, not only for our own mom's needs, it took away all our fears and concerns that our mom wasn't going to be looked after well.


The food preparation and quality of food are very good and always on a regular timescale which has helped our mom to get back into a good routine. Our mom hasn't looked this well for a number of years and I can definitely say that is down to the extreme dedication of all staff members.


A massive thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

A warm homely and friendly place from the first meeting. Room was modern and had personal items, pictures, lamps, ornaments etc made it feel like home. Staff are excellent and caring. Everyone very attentive and responsive to any request was dealt with quickly.

After looking at numerous homes in the area for our Dad we found that Herons Park was a very special place. The building and rooms were clean and bright. There were daily activities, endless tea, cake and excellent meals. More than this though, the staff were warm, efficient and friendly; they were
wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble in the short time my father was there. In the last days of his life, he received excellent and compassionate care. He was made comfortable and his dignity was always respected. As relatives, we were treated with extraordinary kindness, generosity and consideration.

My husband had been having respite care breaks and daycare here for a few years as he had a long-term condition and was very disabled.
When he became very ill he went into this home for nursing care during his last few weeks. I am convinced that he could not have received better care in any other setting,
including our home. A nurse was available round the clock to supply pain relief and other end of life care. The kindness and expertise of all staff were wonderful.
