My husband is bedbound and has been at Brindley Manor Nursing Home for eighteen months and has been kept free from bed sores. He is incontinent but kept very clean. Staff take time to talk to him and feed him. He has dementia but is spoken to with respect. His wishes are honoured that he does not wish
to be moved to see the activities/entertainment but they bring the petting dog to see him. We are always welcome to visit him.

Visited my sister at Brindley Manor Nursing Home today. She seemed very happy and content. All the staff were, very friendly and caring and I was very satisfied that my sister was receiving good quality care.

Can't fault the staff from start to finish, my mum has dementia. My mum has been in Brindley Manor for 5 weeks after the main carer my dad was rushed into hospital and the previous care home I chose could not cope with her condition and was not allowed to stop there. After 1 phone call staff in the
office at Brindley Manor made arrangements for my mum to have an assessment and begin her respite care until my dad was able to have my mum home to care for her. The home allowed us to visit all the time, kept me up-to-date with any issues and was always greeted by staff when I visited by name. My mum was relaxed as much as she could be as a 72 with dementia. Great place, great staff and helped me when I needed the help the most.

The team at Brindley Manor were very helpful and caring throughout the process of my dad going there in his final days. The facilities are excellent and it is a peaceful place. They made a very difficult situation as easy as possible and my dad passed away peacefully. I know he was comfortable there.

The staff are lovely kind and caring.
We needed an emergency respite, from the minute we came and looked around the staff have been nothing but helpful we can't thank them enough.
The rooms are clean and tidy, there are activities that residents can join in with if they would like.

My Mom has recently entered into the care of Brindley Manor.
From the start, the staff have made my Mom and us as a family very welcome and have accommodated my mom's needs and wishes.
The home is well-presented, clean, welcoming, well equipped and cared for.
All the staff are friendly, polite,
kind, attentive and always look very smart and presentable.
My mom's room is bright and airy and all equipment and areas are kept clean and well maintained.
My mom always kept clean and clean clothes and her dog gory maintained.
Meals are nice, very well thought out, fresh, hot, well-balanced, and good portions.
I have been kept informed of my mom's health condition, and changes in her health plans and health status, and feel that the home is supported by the Health Care Team fully.
After much apprehension about my Mom needing to enter a nursing home, I have felt very assured and pleased with the care my Mom and we as a family have received.

Brindley Manor staff care for my mother as if she were their own family. They are always there for her, medical, personal and emotional needs. It isn't a nursing home, it's my mum's proper 'home' in every sense. We will never look elsewhere for Mum's care!

I have been impressed with the staff as they seem kind and caring.
The menu choices are good, and the staff will offer alternatives if there is nothing my son likes.
His room is always clean, tidy and warm.
Management is very approachable and will deal with any problems or concerns I may have
promptly.

The care home has made us feel very welcome since the day of admission. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Te detail to personal care is excellent and this gives a warm, homely feel to the atmosphere which has been so important to our relative as he continues his rehabilitation.

Jensy is the Registered Manager of Brindley Manor Nursing Home and is also a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience. Previously she was the Deputy Manager of Grosvenor House Nursing Home which won care home.co.uk's prestigious award for Top 20 Best Nursing Home in the West Midlands for 5 years under her leadership.


Her experience and skills are essential to achieving our number 1 priority: that Brindley Manor Nursing Home is a place where we would want our own parents or grandparents to live. Jensy is passionate about providing high-quality care for our Residents and continually improving the services we offer.


Mariamma

Mariamma George

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Joined: 2021

Mariamma started at Brindley Manor Nursing Home as a Nurse then became the Clinical Lead and most recently we were delighted to announce her appointment as the Deputy Manager. She has a wealth of nursing experience and her calm and caring manner in addition to her leadership skills mean she is a key member of the Brindley Manor team. She is a big part of our drive to continually improve and provide the highest quality of care to our Residents and improve clinical standards.

Blaise is an integral part of the Brindley Manor Nursing Home team providing activities for all our Residents based on their needs and personal wishes. She has an abundance of energy and enthusiasm and you can see by her interactions that she genuinely cares about all of our residents. It really is heartwarming to see residents respond so positively and happily to her patience and kindness as well as the activities she puts on. For example, her "Therapy" Pony has been an excellent addition to the home!

I enjoy my job. I like devising new dishes and menus. I get great satisfaction out of seeing our residents enjoy their food with lots of flavour, texture, etc. and introducing residents to dishes that they may not have tried before.


It's nice being part of a team where we all look out for each other. And can work whilst being able to laugh, which in turn makes Brindley Manor a more relaxed, happy and calm home for the residents.

Job Title: Handyman

Mel's official title is "Handyman" but he is in many ways so much more! Mel makes sure the home is safe and is on hand to fix any issues. Residents and family will also interact with him as he loves to help with adding touches to Resident rooms so they become more personal spaces and more like a home away from home. That could be pictured on the walls or fitting a new TV! He is wonderfully cheerful with a lovely sense of humour that the Residents and Staff all appreciate.
