Thank you for your positive feedback regarding the care and support for your father who is in Buckingham House, and also for the team's hard work. We are pleased that your father is enjoying the varied and meaningful activity programme delivered in Buckingham House and that he has enjoyed his gardening activities in this lovely weather. Sometimes we do have to enlist the help of local agency staff to ensure staffing levels remain safe and to deliver the care to our residents and we endeavour to book staff who have cared for the residents in Buckingham House previously. We do have an electronic logging system for maintenance tasks required across the Village, we apologise for the delay in the issue being dealt with regarding the light bulb change. The Management Team will continue to monitor this situation to drive improvement in response times. Once again thank you for your kind words and we will ensure this is passed on to the staff at Buckingham House.

Thank you for taking the time to review Moundsley House, firstly our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother. Thank you for your comments regarding the care received by Mom, it is always nice to see positive comments about our hard-working team. Our staff retention across the village is good and agency use is at an all-time low. To ensure we have a full team on shift daily, we will use hand-picked agency staff to cover annual leave and absence when necessary. All residents are assessed to ensure we are the right facility for them before they move in. We can only apologise for any miscommunication you felt went unanswered as we understand the importance of positive relations with families. We assure you that when a resident is admitted to the Hospital, regular contact is made by the home to the ward where our resident is admitted. We apologise if you felt this was not fed back to you during your Mom's stay in the Hospital. Thank you for choosing Moundsley Hall.

We are delighted your husband has settled in Moundsley House and is enjoying spending time with his twin sister who also lives with us in Moundsley House. We are delighted to hear that the care provided in the house is of a high standard and we will feed your positive comments back to our staff. We have taken on board your comments regarding the Management oversight of the Village, particularly during the weekend. We are commencing, on-site management cover at the weekends moving forward, so any issues highlighted during this time can be actioned in a timely manner and it will also give staff support during the weekend period. We apologise that you have had to raise concerns in relation to the laundry and I can assure we will give this concern our utmost attention to improve our service moving forward.

We are sorry to read your comments below and confirm this is a total contradiction to the thoughts and comments made by family involved in Mom’s care, of whom we built a positive relationship with. Visitors must not be under the influence of alcohol or other and all visitors should display nonaggressive behaviour to both staff and residents. We understand that you were at times unable to meet these criteria. We confirm that Mom remained safe and well cared for within our care village and the family involved in Mom’s care remained happy and supported.

Demi joined the team in 2018 and quickly became a popular member of staff. Demi moved from care to the Activity team after displaying a keen interest in wanting to enhance the day-to-day quality of life for our residents.
Demi is an exceptional member of the team who works tirelessly to ensure our residents have the best day possible. Person centring all activities, often having several activities going at the same time ensuring the maximum amount of participants can enjoy the day. Demi does not forget those who are unable to join the communal areas, she will take the activity to them! Demi is well organised and plans ahead for all relevant celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and easter, all are made special because of the hard work and compassion Demi has applied to her role. Her ability to connect with the residents is a special skill and her dedication to delivering fun, laughter, memories and much more is something to be proud of.
