Job Title: General Manager

Catherine trained as a Registered Nurse at the Bristol and Weston School of Nursing which led to a career in nursing spanning cardiac intensive care and a range of surgical specialities culminating in a Surgical Modern Matron position. Catherine led the Bristol Hospital’s International Recruitment and Education Programme which brought her acute nursing experience into senior healthcare management.
In 2005, Catherine moved from the NHS to the role of Director of Tetbury Hospital, an independent charitable community hospital in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. She transferred this experience to health and social care, as the General Manager for The Cotswold Home achieving a CQC Outstanding rating. Catherine then completed two years as Clinical Director overseeing the delivery of care and compliance across Elizabeth Finn Homes.
Catherine has now taken up the role of General Manager for Rashwood. In her own words, “I missed the home environment and the camaraderie of a close-knit community of staff, families and residents. As General Manager of Rashwood, I am most looking forward to getting to know our wonderful residents and to welcoming new ones. I have so many plans for this fabulous home and working with the local community in Droitwich”.
