Staff went over and above to care for my mother, who, after being a resident from May on nursing care, was eventually on end-of-life/palliative care. Kindness and respect were given to Mum in her relatively short time with the care home.

My mum has recently been very poorly with a chest infection and various other elements. The nursing care she has been given at Redhill as a family, we cannot fault. The decision was taken by the Nurse that Mum should go to hospital which was the right decision to take. Mum has improved now, but her
first words while in hospital were 'I just want to go home, I want to be back where I know I will be looked after'. Mum didn't mean her old house, she meant Redhill. We are all so pleased that she is now referring to Redhill as her home. It's been quite a journey for the whole family, especially Mum to move to Redhill but it has turned out to be the best thing for Mum. She has her life back, more importantly made some lovely friends. The main thing here is that when she is poorly, the family do not have to worry about the care she will get and how well looked after she is, we know she is getting the best care and that is such a relief for us. Well done Redhill, you are brilliant.

During my Father's time at the home, he received good quality care and had begun to think of the home as 'home'. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Whilst Dad did not often engage in activities staff made concerted efforts to include him and find out what interested him. The nursing care was
very good, and we were very appreciative of their patience and kindness.

What a lovely home, who cared for my grandad so wonderfully. Care was outstanding right from the start until the very end. A special thanks to two members of staff in particular who were truly amazing right until the very end. Not all heroes wear capes. You’re worth your weight in gold each and every
one of you. A huge thank you to the home manager who was truly amazing throughout keeping in contact with the family.

My wife was a resident for 3 years and received kindness, good care, cleanliness, and good food at all times. All medical care was provided quickly and prescribing medication was given at all times. Rooms are clean and bed linen is changed at required times.

Overall a cheerful, hard-working staff who welcome family members in to see their resident.
My only adverse comments are, remote control not always on table, the emergency cord not always in reach, dirty dishes left on the table a long time after the meal we served.
In the overall care package tiny
things but they ate an irritant.

Caring, professional and lovely people who made Dad’s stay special. He loved his time there being looked after 24/7. All the staff had a smile on their faces and were absolutely lovely. We would have no hesitation to recommend Red Hill Care Centre.

I lost my father at the weekend and I have to say a massive thanks to all the staff for the kindness compassion and professionalism shown to Dad and the family during this difficult time. The staff went out of their way to do their best during the time throughout the two and a half years that he was

All the staff at Red Hill are heroes who do not wear capes!
The care and attention that they give to their residents, allows the residents to feel comfortable in their surroundings and gives them a sense of belonging like a family.
The home is always clean and tidy and encourages visiting as if it
were the resident's own home.
I really cannot fault Red Hill, from the care they provide to the activities they put on, to how they still promote an individual's independence and mobility.

I live over 100 miles away so only get to visit Mum every couple of weeks. I always find Mum clean and tidy and she seems content. The staff are very friendly and although sometimes short-staffed, Mum is always comfortable.

A well-run and very friendly care home. The staff have always been helpful, caring and cheerful, with nothing too much trouble. They organise many fun activities which the residents are encouraged to take part in. My relative is happy there, which is such a great relief. Many thanks to all.

My mum was only in Red Hill Care Home for a couple of months, but we experienced nothing but kindness and support from all the staff involved in caring for her. Any concerns or issues were always communicated promptly to me as the first point of contact. Staff got to know her, her likes and dislikes,
and she was well cared for. As a relative, I definitely felt that my wishes were considered, and I was also important to everyone who works there. I also feel that my daughter and my father were treated well when they visited and had queries or questions. I feel that Red Hill has a very holistic approach to a person's care which makes a sometimes difficult situation easier to deal with.
My mum said that the carers were kind, respectful and gentle. I think that is a true and real representation of hers and our experience.

Warm and friendly environment, the staff and carers are always helpful and take the time with each resident to know what makes them happy to fulfil their needs or just chat with them. There is a good range of activities and residents are encouraged to take part. Meals are wholesome and well-planned
with staff taking the time to learn each resident's likes and dislikes. Relatives are kept well informed of their loved ones and encouraged to visit and greeted with a warm welcome when they do.

We have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. They are looking after our relatives with great care and consideration. It would be helpful to have an extra chair in the room, but on balance, everything is as it should be.
