My husband was admitted to Shaw Red Hill Care Home in 2016 with advanced dementia. He was totally dependent on carers for all aspects of personal care in the remaining months of his life. I cannot find fault with the standard of care he received there. Unfortunately, his condition was not going to
improve but he was able to end his days there without the need for hospital admission. The terminal care he received was excellent.

My mother was resident at Shaw Red Hill at the end of 2016 for end of life care. The care she received was excellent. The staff were kind, compassionate and professional. The home was always kept clean and the meals which are freshly prepared on the premises were very good. My mother was treated
with great respect and kindness and was nursed excellently.
My mother passed away at the home just before Christmas and the staff could not have been more kind to my sister and myself at such a very sad time.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Shaw Red Hill.

My father suffers from dementia and other ailments. We moved him from a care home in Upton as we were very disappointed with the care he was receiving there. What a difference! This home is efficient, kind in their dealings with my father. The staff are hard working and they show huge empathy with
all their residents. Plus the communication between the family and the staff is exemplary. The residents are happy and very well cared for. What a super place. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Since arriving at Shaw Red Hill, my mother has received exemplary nursing care and support. As a family, we are able to relax in the knowledge that she is respected and looked after. No one ever wants to be in my mother's situation and institutionalise, but the fact she has been so well looked after
is the only reason she has continued to be with us this past four years. Lovely staff, understanding and very attentive.
