The charm of the views can be enjoyed from many of the en-suite bedrooms in this beautifully appointed former country house, with some ground floor rooms benefitting from French windows leading to private patios.

The home is proud of its local reputation and offers clinical expertise in many areas, including palliative, respite or specialist complex care for those people living with dementia and other conditions.

We managed to care for my father at home until his final few days. We really wanted him to stay with us at home, but eventually had to accept that we and the home carers could not cope. Therefore, it was with some trepidation that we put him in a nursing home; we need not have worried. When I researched
possible nursing homes, Isle Court Nursing Home stood out, being in a lovely location with modern facilities and friendly staff. The staff were so kind to my father and sensitive to our needs as a family, I cannot recommend them more highly. Dads passing was pain free and dignified and we were able to be with him as he went. Thank you to all at Isle Court, you made a difficult time easier to cope with.

Mum stayed for a week as a trial to see if she would be ok. She was very scared about going but has come home with a very different attitude and opinion. She would happily stay long-term if the need arises. Everybody was caring and helpful, more like a good hotel. In fact, I would happily go there myself!
Mum is 93, and her first time away from family. Brilliant.

My mother transferred from a ward in the hospital to Isle Court and instantly changed from a patient to a guest. She picked up instantly, even though she was terminally ill. All the team were excellent and looked after her so well. Over the 9-weeks or so, her life was enriched through the comfort of
the room, the brilliant team, food and lots of tea!
When she became ill, the nursing team were professional, kind and sympathetic, allowing Mum to be dignified and pain-free.
My sister and I were always warmly welcomed by the team, and nothing was too much trouble.
We are so grateful.

My husband was admitted to Isle Court from hospital on 22nd January 2022. From the day he arrived until he sadly passed away on 12th March 2022 he was warmly welcomed by all the staff. They took time to find out what he enjoyed and what his hobbies were and supplied him with a DVD box set on fishing
which he loved to watch. He was treated with love and respect by all the staff and formed a bond with them. We were kept informed at all times of his welfare and all our family were welcomed when we visited and always offered tea or coffee which was very welcome! I cannot praise the home highly enough from the welcome of the reception staff who are always smiling, sympathetic and helpful. All the carers and nursing staff and of course the catering and housekeeping staff who keep the home exceptionally clean and welcoming. As my husband could not be looked after at home due to his medical needs Isle Court was the next best place for him and his family. For this, we thank you all.

My Dad was moved to Isle Court from the hospital so he could spend his final days in a calmer environment. The staff were caring and kind - not only looking after Dad and ensuring he was comfortable but also taking care of me as I sat with him. The building and grounds are lovely and tranquil, and everywhere
is spotlessly clean.

My mum came to isle Court after a spell in hospital and was very weak and we as a family were very sad. She perked up after just two days and was lavished with care and attention, she really began to shine, she was more mobile, ate better and smiled and I as her daughter felt she was being cared for
by people who actually care.
The staff, nurses, carers, housekeepers, receptionists, stewards and kitchen staff are exceptional. A breath of fresh air.

My mum was in Isle court for only 3 1/2 weeks. The staff (all staff) right from the start were very welcoming and friendly. Mums room was very clean and homely. We took mums belongings up and the home had a very good system of ensuring mums washing returned to her on a daily basis. Mum wasn’t a very
good eater but the home made every effort to ensure mum had what she fancied at any time helping mum to eat if she need assistance. They were very good to ensure mums personal care and hygiene were met and mum had a say in her care. During the last few days, the staff not only made sure that mum had everything to keep her comfortable they also support us as a family ( and there are a lot of us) nothing was too much for them even during the long hours through the night keeping us fed and watered.
I would recommend Isle Court to anybody it is just a lovely place and all staff were just lovely.

I cannot compliment Isle Court Nursing Home enough with their care of my dying sister and myself. We wanted for nothing and it was a great relief to me that I knew she was in excellent hands. The premises were beautifully kept and there was a feeling of peace when you entered. The food provided was
also top rate.

Isle Court is a lovely place we are so glad our mother is here and is being so well looked after and it's put our minds at rest. We can relax knowing she's well cared for. The only thing I'd recommend is some help for the lovely helpful, friendly ladies on reception they have so much to do with Covid
and paperwork, answering the phone, take messages to and from their relatives. Well done.

I would like to say how much I and my family appreciated Isle Court for my mum's 85th Birthday Party tea. They prepared cake and sandwiches and Birthday Cake. It was so very lovely and my mum enjoyed her afternoon.

Reception is always helpful and pleasant staff. The staff are happy to help and understand individual patients needs.

Isle Court is a lovely nursing home, set in beautiful surroundings. Dad has been very comfortable in his stay here and the staff look after him well. The front of house staff is friendly and very official at dealing with all the Covid restrictions. This is my first dealings with a care home and I couldn't
have asked for a better experience.

We moved our mother from a nursing home she has only been in for 2 weeks due to neglect. After our first visit, we knew she would be happier at Isle Court. The staff make you feel so welcome even under Covid restrictions. The staff are very kind and understanding and very patient with our mother.
