Located on the outskirts of Telford, Myford House offers first class accommodation for its residents. Set on the edge of the new Lightmoor Village, the House enjoys views over open countryside.

It is an exclusive development for residents who wish to spend their retirement in comfort and style. Nestled amongst beautiful grounds, the home is ideally located to enjoy the benefits of the scenery and tranquillity of rural Shropshire, whilst being easily accessible from Telford and surrounding towns with close links to the M54.

Most of residents live permanently at Myford House though the home is the perfect setting for long or short stays, whether for personal respite convalescent care including 24-hour personal care or for those recovering from an operation or illness.

My father has now had 2 visits to Myford House. The first was in February 2021 when he caught Covid from a hospital stay and he was placed at Myford due to how ill my mother was and the fear of her catching Covid if he returned home. The care he received was amazing.
He is currently on a respite placement
in their Dementia unit and the care and love that the staff show to him is out of this world. He is treated like a member of their family rather than it being a business. They have managed to get medication under control and to turn his sleep pattern back to how it should be with ease because of the dedicated nursing team. I know he is safe, cared for and well-fed at Myford house and I would advise anyone looking to place at this care home to do so. Having experience of other care homes, Myford go above and beyond meeting residents' expectations of a stay in a care home. Utterly amazing, dedicated staff.

The home manager is an excellent example of a nurse manager. All through these dreadful times, she has been there for me on a personal basis. I cannot thank her enough. She also has a fantastic team. Our family love you all. A very big thanks to you all but the manager has kept me going many a time.

My mum was moved to this care home in July 2021. I cannot recommend this home enough. Within a month of being there, she has put on weight, she laughs and smiles, and that is something I haven't seen in the year prior to getting her here! The staff are fantastic, caring and very supportive. The level
of care my mom has received is amazing. Thank you all so much.

When my 82 year old mum arrived at Myford House, she was very anxious, the staff worked really hard and went above and beyond to make her comfortable and build a relationship with her, the care she has received has been amazing.
Mum is now receiving end of life care and we couldn’t wish for her to
be in a better place.
She is always treated with kindness and respect and when we have asked the staff to help with something, they have gone out of their way to make it happen.
Many thanks to the manager and all the staff that care for my mum.

Our dad has been a resident at Myford House for a few months now and honestly, I could not recommend them enough. The staff have been fabulous, they treat the residents with care, compassion and with a friendly joke or two that makes everyone feel right at home, which is so important. The home is very
clean and comfortable and has a real home from home feel. They have really been on top of Dad's medical care and we are regularly kept up to date. All the staff are professional while being friendly and caring. It is just such a relief to know Dad is in a lovely, caring home and getting such good care and attention.

Outstanding care. I found all of them to be informative, responsive, well-led. My mom had been looked after by this amazing team for quite some time unfortunately my mom died on the 3rd of Dec losing her battle with dementia. The staff who nursed her to the end were outstanding and could not do enough
for us as a family showing their professional approach was second to none. The manager was also extremely helpful in all aspects and was happy to answer any queries or questions we had. You were all fantastic we are so grateful for all of your support through such a difficult time. You deserve a lot of recognition for displaying such high standards. Kind regards.

Our grateful thanks go to all the staff at Myford House for making Mum's short stay as comfortable as possible.
Such a huge improvement on her stay in 2019.
The cleanliness and dedication of all are impressive and the surroundings are beautiful.
Such care is taken and attention to detail, even down
to a small dog soft toy who stood sentinel over my Mum.
I admit to having reservations when we were told where Mum was going but I am pleased to say that the improvements from the beginning of the year are immeasurable.

My mum has been in Myford House for the past 3 years and has always received very good care, but during these past few months with the worry of Covid 19, I must say the carers and all the staff at Myford House have been fantastic and always kept me well informed about how my mum has been doing and have

My Dad went into Myford House, mainly because it's close to where I live so visiting would be easier, unfortunately, the Covid-19 made this difficult anyway, but the staff at Myford House were to my dad and to myself not short of wonderful. My dad's room was very pleasant, but really like any home,
it's the people that make the difference and at Myford the staff were simply the very best I could have hoped for, caring, gentle, kind, generous, helpful, and straightforward with nothing being too much trouble. I wasn't made to feel like I was visiting more like I was part of the team, always smiling and cheerful, trust me you need humour to carry you through some of the toughest times. I can't recommend Myford enough.

My dad has recently passed away in Myford House after it being his home for over 5-years and I can honestly say it was like home, and the staff there treated him like he was one of their own family. The compassion and kindness they showed to him and me, I will never forget. It is a very difficult time
when you place the care of a loved one in someone else’s hands, but I never, ever regretted my decision to have Dad at Myford. I will always treasure the time I was able to spend with him there.

My 85-year-old mum was in Myford House for respite at the beginning of this year, and she loved it there, a real family feel. She has now been back there for just over a week and is poorly, but the staff have been amazing! Their care of Mum is round the clock, and the team cannot do enough to keep her
comfortable. Thanks to their brilliant team, I've been kept well informed of her condition, and their support offered to me has been incredibly comforting. I cannot praise the staff at Myford House highly enough! Thank you for everything you're doing, you're all heroes?

Overall, the service seems good and the care of the residents is acceptable. At times, the staff levels appear low, usually at the weekends. The staff always seem welcoming to me and pleasant around the residents.

I have nothing but praise to say about Myford House and all its staff. All the residents including myself are treated with the utmost dignity. I am completely happy and contented here and could want for nothing more. I enjoy all of the entertainment provided and especially the music from the entertainers
that come in - as I love to sing. I am nearly 103 years old but still young at heart.

As our first anniversary of my husband being in Myford approaches I can honestly say that all my anxieties have been taken away. We both are very happy with the way he is treated and he is so fond of all his carers. They treat him like family and we could not wish for more. They all do their very best
