Activities - We are awaiting our new activities coordinator, she will be commencing on 18th September so we will see a huge improvement.
Outdoor Area - This is an area we are very aware of and we are looking at getting all of this sorted in the very near future. We are just awaiting the DBS clearance of our maintenance man, so once this is through, work will commence.
Cleaning - We are aware that some areas need more attention and we are working on these as quickly as we can. We have just lost one of our domestic staff so trying to distribute cleaning duties between the remaining domestic staff.
I hope in the coming weeks you will see an improvement but please come and see us if you don't.

Our care planning system is digital and when we went live an invite was sent to you or your Sister to allow full access to Mum's care and support needs. I am unaware if you activated the subscription.
Unfortunately, lap straps are a restrictive measure and are not used unless there is a relevant need and/or consent from the resident who has capacity.

Our very own Florence Nightingale. Pat is a Qualified Nurse by profession although no longer practices. What she doesn't know, isn't worth knowing. Martin has worked at the Old Rectory for many years providing nutritious, healthy and very tasty meals for our residents. Martin develops his own seasonal menus by speaking to the residents regarding their likes and dislikes. Martin has secured, with the help of his Kitchen team, a five-star food hygiene rating of which we are very proud.
Martin can cook and bake anything asked of him and loves new challenges. Martin is a very valid member of our team and enjoys creating meals for all dietary requirements.
