Dad has been in the home since January 2025. He's settled in well. Staff are very friendly and caring. I've always been able to talk to them about any concerns and any matters regarding Dad have been sorted to the highest care and regards for Dad's well being. Food is lovely. Rooms are very clean. Staff
are very welcoming. I highly recommend.

Everyone at Branston Court (care staff and admin) are very friendly, helpful and caring. What is important is that they keep the family informed about Dad when he has had health problems, which is very reassuring. It's a shame he doesn't eat very much as the food looks delicious!

Patients love it when they have the music on and do movements to it. Seem to enjoy it better than watching rubbish on the TV.
Like the pets that occasionally come in too.

Mum has been in the home since September, she is very well looked after, the care team and manager are all very helpful and accommodating. Always trying to make Mum happy. I live 4 hours away and am reassured that the staff have my Mum's well-being in hand and do the best they can. A lovely team of
staff.

Very nice, friendly, helpful staff.
Very clean.
Lovely room, nice to have the bed/toilet room in one.
Food looks good, Mum is a celiac, so no gluten, oats, wheat, rye or malt.
Chef is very good.
All I can say is that the staff are very friendly, some better than others.

My mum was transferred to Branston Court Care Home from hospital to receive end-of-life care.
During the few weeks she has been there, the staff have been friendly and caring. They are always approachable and it seems that nothing is too much trouble.
My mum and dad have always been adamant that they
didn't want to go into any care home but my mum has been treated with dignity and respect and the entire family is pleased with the decision to transfer her there. My dad has even said he would be happy to go to Branston Court if it becomes necessary.

Came to visit the home, this was the fourth home I visited. Branston Court Care Home was the one I wanted my husband to come to. Management was very kind and caring. All the residents I saw looked well cared for and happy.

My husband has been in Branston Court for almost 4 years and although he has deteriorated in that time he has always been well looked after and the manager and all her staff should be given much credit for the work they do. Nothing is too much trouble and my husband is non verbal they seem to know what
is needed to make him comfortable. As a result of the above, it gives me peace of mind knowing he is in safe hands.

My father has received exceptional care at Branston Court, as his condition has deteriorated. The staff are continually assessing and implementing the appropriate care as my father's health declines and his needs increase. The atmosphere at Branston Court is always cheerful and upbeat, the staff involve
relatives constantly and they genuinely care about their patients. I'm very happy he's here.

Mum originally came in for 2 weeks of respite care and felt so settled that she decided to stay. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Mum seems so much happier and is looking forward to a new lease of life. Highly recommend.

My husband, unfortunately, came into Branston Court, last August. I had no idea what I was to expect, when I finally got to see him (due to covid). He is looking fabulous. The care staff and management are spot on. His room is nice and well looked after. The management always keeps me updated. I receive
a newsletter monthly, which I enjoy reading. His food always looks amazing. I will never be able to thank the staff enough. I now don't have to worry about him. He is happy.

My dad had been in hospital since January 2022 with a cocktail of health problems and I was passing Branston Court Home. I had heard excellent reviews about them. I stopped and rang the bell and was greeted by the manager. She was very welcoming and helpful and I asked if there was any room for my dad.
She said yes and from that moment I felt relief that dad was going to be cared for in the way he deserved. Since Dad has been there, he has been treated with respect, love and care. He has settled in beautifully and the whole family are very happy with his care!

Mum has settled in far better than I could ever have imagined or hoped for. This is down to the superb team who welcomed her with open arms. Although Mum has only been here for a matter of weeks, she is really happy to call Branston Court her home. The care and facilities are the best we, as a family,
have encountered and we have complete peace of mind. A massive thank you to the whole team.

Having worked as a senior manager in social care for 30 years, this is the best care home I have ever seen. My mother became a resident on 28th February 2022. I can't fault anything about Branston Court. Mum has settled well and feels safe and cared for. She has made the decision to remain at Branston
Court. The manager and team are amazing, responsive and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble for the residents or us as the family. Brilliant resource!

Following a six-week stay in hospital my dad's care was transferred to Branston Court Care Home, within days I noticed a positive change in him. In June of this year, he suffered a stroke and was given a short time to live. Since then he has been returned to the care home where his condition has gradually
improved, helped by the high standard and professionalism of care afforded to him by the wonderful staff and management at Branston Court Care Home.

All I can say is that the four weeks that my mother spent at Branston Court were the best she had enjoyed for many months. The care and attention she received were second to none and helped her to settle in so easily. She was so happy here and the sadness is that her time here was so short. A sincere
and heartfelt 'thank you' to the Manager and all her wonderful staff.

Current Review Score: 8.7 (8.677)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.7 (8.677) out of 10 for Branston Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.4 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.410 for Branston Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (47 Excellents x 5) + (24 Goods x 4) + (11 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 83 Ratings = 4.41

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 4.267 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Branston Court Care Home is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 45 registered maximum number of service users is 9. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 9 = 0.667

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
