Thanks to the dedication of all the truly amazing staff at Barton Cottage, Mum's health improved beyond our family’s expectations. She has been so well cared for, nothing was too much trouble and the team were so cheerful, positive, and responsive to Mum's needs. Mum enjoyed the food, gained weight
and strength that she had lost in hospital... Mum is now happily settled into her care home, and doing well.

The professionalism and care shown by all the staff during my mother's stay in The Cottage Wing has been exemplary. I could not have asked for my mother to have been in a better place during her recovery. All the staff and management have been so kind to her over the last few weeks and have made her
feel so cared for and comfortable and assistance is always on hand at the touch of a button.

The Cottage Wing is an excellent facility. My mother-in-law is here following a stay in hospital with a fractured ankle. She is 94 and finds the care wonderful. The staff are very kind and the room is bright and airy and all very comfortable. The staff are competent and approachable. Thank you.

The Cottage Wing is an excellent facility. Mom was there for a couple of months and I was happy that she was receiving the best care. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and bed comfortable for Mom's pain. I can honestly say that I had complete peace of
mind, knowing that Mom was safe, comfortable and well cared for. Without hesitation, I would recommend Barton Cottage.

On the whole, I felt the nursing and patient care to be excellent.

Everything and everyone has been of excellent standards. When asking specific requirements for my dad. Nothing was too much trouble. I phoned every morning to speak with my dad. I was passed with patience, understanding and, always, kindness.
Every member of the team has been exemplary. We are very

My father was transferred here from the hospital for palliative care. He was so well looked after and his last five weeks were made so comfortable thanks to all the staff here. The staff made all the family welcome on our visits and nothing was too much trouble. They kept us informed about everything
and telephoned to keep us up to date and didn't mind when we called to check on his progress, no matter what time of the day or night. All the staff had time for a chat with Dad and nothing was too much trouble. As a family, we couldn't have asked for more.

My father was transferred here from hospital. The care home was excellent and as it should be. The staff communicated and displayed a caring attitude, (lacking in other places). Dad was well cared for. The environment is welcoming and homely.

The Cottage Wing, for me, was unique in all the services given, caringly and professionally. It made me feel how fortunate I was to be there to help with the healing process. Nothing was too much trouble, and kindness permeated the building. No wonder patients wanted to stay longer!

My elderly dad was safeguarded at Barton Cottage a year ago and spent two months being spoilt rotten by the wonderful staff here. Nothing he or we asked for was too much trouble. I can still see him sitting in the dining room with a special meal of stuffed peppers. He didn't really want to leave to
go to his permanent care home and was still talking about their kindness a few weeks ago when he sadly died. I too will never forget their kindness. Thank you.

The kindness, thoughtfulness and understanding shown to our mum and her family was immense. As it was end of life care, you enabled us to become her children instead of her carers and for that time afforded, we will be forever grateful.

The Cottage Wing has been extremely good at looking after and caring for my partner who, unfortunately, has had a long stay. They are very caring, they listen to what she says/needs. They have very good covid practices in place to safeguard everyone. The meals are well prepared and enjoyable. It is
not very pleasant going into a care facility but The Cottage Wing has definitely made it bearable.
