Fauld House Nursing Home is situated in the picturesque countryside, close to the historical village of Tutbury.

The 48-bed home is dual registered - Nursing and Residential. It hosts both shared and single en-suite accommodation with panoramic scenic views overlooking the countryside.

The home offers 24-hour nursing care with registered nurses on-site.

The team specialise in the following: - Parkinson's, dementia care, Alzheimer's, stroke, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, and heart conditions. All staff are fully trained to a high standard and regularly complete their refresher training. They are all trained in providing care to people with catheters, stoma bags and peg feeds. Also, specialising in palliative and end of life care.

My wife's residence commenced on May 3rd and as I was unable to attend for a considerate portion of this time owing to two or three members of staff having had contact with covid, my review covers only a limited period. I was very pleased with the care and treatment my wife received from the majority
of the staff. Only a very few of the staff failed to reach the high standards achieved by the majority and I attribute this to a high workload.

I was very pleased when my brother was accepted at this care home. It has a good representation in our locality. This has proved to be very well deserved; staff are most helpful on the telephone and when visiting, my brother was heard singing to himself, obviously happy. Through the covid time, all
measures have been explained. Well done to all staff.

Dad had been in hospital since January and we needed to find a care home for him as we were unable to have him back home when he was medically fit for discharge. We called into Fauld House without an appointment when passing and we could not have had a warmer welcome. Everyone is not only extremely
professional but also kind and helpful. This is obviously a distressing time for Dad and the rest of our family but he has now settled in well and is enjoying the excellent food. I would recommend anyone looking for a care home for a family member to visit Fauld House.

The care of a loved one and their needs are always met to a very high standard even when loved ones can be very demanding, very upset and sometimes violent. The staff have a high standard of understanding when dealing with residents on an everyday occurrence.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Detail to cleanliness very good. Great home-cooked food.
My husband transferred from a residential home, which was fantastic. I didn't think I could find anywhere to match it. Now in Fauld House Nursing Home, he is receiving nursing care and has settled in
so well. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Wonderful caring people who I am happy to leave my fabulous dad in the care of. Very happy to see how secure and safe the building is. My dad always has a smile on his face and looks healthy, good weight, etc. It's nice to see money is being spent to keep the home to a high standard. Thank you!

When visiting my mum at Fauld House, I am always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is homely and very caring. I believe all staff go the extra mile to provide the essential care and emotional support for the well being of the residents. The home is cleaned to a very high standard.
The meals are also of a very high quality, well presented and delicious. It feels like home. The staff have become like family to us. It is them who make it special.

As my brother was only 56 and suffering from terminal cancer, I initially wasn't too sure about Fauld House Nursing Home being able to give him the care we wanted, I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff lead by the senior nurses were excellent and made his last few days very comfortable.
There
has been some bad press about nursing homes and their staff recently on the news, but there is no worry at all with the home or the staff at Fauld. All staff were very considerate and the ones that dealt with my brother were very understanding, very respectful and we couldn't have asked for more.


So once again Thank you from all the family ..............

My mother was transferred from Burton Hospital to Fauld as a palliative care patient for end of life care and we could not have been more delighted with the choice. We visited the home before the transfer took place and immediately the friendliness shone through from all the staff, who were also very
well presented and behaved in a professional manner but at the same time made us feel so welcome.
All the residents too were well presented and happy, both at the initial visit and every time we went. The home is very nice to visit, very clean but not "clinical", and the room Mum had was spacious and nice to be in, with a lovely view across the countryside. Unfortunately, Mum was only in Fauld for six days before she died due to her condition, but the palliative 24-hour care she received was outstanding. I know this home is in great demand, so if you get the same opportunity as we did grab it!
