Trentham House management have applied great attention to detail throughout the care home. New Park House is a delightful 1930s style building which been extensively renovated with care and sensitivity and stands in four acres of spacious, partially wooded, well-kept grounds.

There are mature trees, lawns, paths and seating areas which make leisurely strolls possible all year round. The friendly, caring staff are committed to providing the type of professional care which will enhance the quality of life of all residents.

There are care staff in the home 24hrs a day and can provide first class care for all residents. Trentham House believes in an on-going training programme, keeping care quality modern and professional, while also being dedicated to the independence of clients.

Families are able to seek friendly advice on arranging care for loved ones, with all care packages regularly assessed for developing needs.

My husband has been a resident for four and a half years. He is treated by all the staff, with respect and dignity that's all that matters. He is happy and well cared for and spoken to not at. Although he has always liked his own company the activities are great for people who like to mix.

I have an electric scooter which enables me to use the home and the grounds. I enjoy the residents company and staff. In the main I enjoy everything. no complaints I am the age of 98 and have good health but my legs let me down. I say keep breathing in and out and soldier on to the end of the road.

There is a lovely, caring atmosphere here, with plenty of things to do for the residents. We have attended 'knit and natter' and the Christmas fayre together and mum has attended concerts and enjoys the hairdresser's 'pamper' sessions and ball games. There is always something going on. Mum is treated
with consideration and dignity. Her medication, hygiene and nutritional needs are well met.
Her accommodation is comfortable and clean. She has her privacy when required.
My sister and I feel safe in the knowledge that she is well cared for.

Also, I have over 10 years care home experience at management level within the company. Extensive experience in various community care setting overseeing clinical needs for the local population. Within my roles I have worked in partnership with other professionals e.g., Health and the Local Authority.
I pride myself on effective and excellent communication skills. I have completed a leadership degree module and I pride myself on the leadership qualities.
I have the ability to work in a way which reflects the care home ethos. The ability to develop and promote positive working relationships with the individual’s being supported at Trentham House.
