My mum has been a resident of Cedar Lodge for nearly 2 years. She loves the home and carers and receives amazing care. The food and cleanliness of Cedar Lodge is really good. Mum's room is always spotless with her bed always made. The residents are encouraged to participate in activities including craft
and music, they also go out on visits to local attractions. All in all very pleased with her care.

Cedar Lodge has a very nice feel, it is homely and everyone is friendly and welcoming.
I enjoy every visit to the home, the staff are kind and helpful.
The people who live at the home seem very happy and are all treated very well.
The food is very very good, meal times are very nice and calm.
The
minibus takes people out on trips, which is brilliant, when people come back you can see they have enjoyed it and are smiling.

I could not have been more fortunate in finding this care home for my mother who has had Alzheimer's for the last 5 years. I find the staff here very friendly, caring and helpful. I call in here at totally random times and always see her being cared for.
The staff are patient and have a brilliant calm
way with my mum. Mum;s room is also well looked after and I have never had cause for complaint.

My mother has been in the home for 14 months. The care and support she receives has been excellent from a very dedicated team of people. Her health has deteriorated in this time and Cedar Lodge has the facilities and support to meet these new demands.
The welfare of the patients is put first with attention
to basic needs. Lots of stimulating activities are provided to help the patients.
We would recommend Cedar Lodge to anyone who has a relative with dementia.

Great home. Nothing is too much trouble for the carers and my friend couldn't be in better hands.


The food is also wonderful and very varied. It's obvious that the catering staff take a lot of effort to provide interesting and nutritious food.

During the 3 years mum has been resident at Cedar Lodge, she has received very, very good care.
Predominantly the staff are warm, friendly and caring. The environment is excellent and also the food. The occupational therapy staff work really hard to the residents stimulated.
We as a family are extremely
grateful for the love and care that mum receives.

I would like to say how wonderful the staff are at Cedar Lodge care home. My Grandma has been a resident there for the last year and the staff are just so amazing. The manager, the catering team, care staff and domestics and not forgetting the amazing activity ladies! I feel so reassured that that my
grandma is in such caring hands!


All the residents, including my grandma, go out on trips on regular basis. The food and facilities and caring staff team make Cedar Lodge feel so warm and homely, a true extended family!

I cannot recommend the home enough. The kindness and care shown to my mother has been 100%. After many years of saying that I wouldn't put her in a home I know that this has been the right thing to do. She is happy and safe. The food is fantastic. It is a home from home. All aspects from spiritual,

My father has been in the home for quite a while now as far as I am aware he is very happy and well looked after. The staff and carers are very close and caring and look after my dad very well and of lately my dad has been very ill and the carers and duty nurses have been exceptional. I am very relaxed
with my dad here so I am happy.

My Dad has been living at Cedar Lodge for two years, it was a relief to find such a fantastic home to care for him.
It is secure with coded locks but easy to access for relatives and friends who can visit at any time.
The staff are brilliant, caring and helpful, always available to answer any questions.
Activities
are provided every day. They are varied to include each of the resident's particular interests and include trips out on their own minibus.
The chefs provide wonderful food and do their best to include any particular requests.
Cedar Lodge is always kept extremely clean.
Residents are treated with care, dignity and as individuals.

I cannot praise this care home enough! My granddad was in Cedar Lodge for around 18 months, I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever made. He absolutely loved living there, amongst all the other residents and joining in all the daily activities - his favourite being the music man on a Tuesday!
The staff are incredible - it is like one big family and they made it so much easier for us as a family to cope. Unfortunately, my granddad passed away at the end of January but the support and guidance we received from everyone were amazing. The staff even coming in on their days off to check we were all ok, and bringing us meals on wheels when we were there all day and night, I don't think you would receive better service in a hotel!

Mum has been very well cared for since moving to the home over a year ago. The staff have patience, treat residents as individuals, and have a very caring attitude. It was very difficult moving mum from an independent life to residential, but we feel that we can trust everyone there to help her in
every way. She developed an infection recently and it was only because of the quick response of staff on duty to a serious situation which enabled her to make a full recovery.

Our mother has been at Cedar Lodge for 18 months after we felt she was unable to safely look after herself. She is gradually developing dementia and after looking at about 8 care homes in the area we decided on Cedar Lodge partly for the location but mostly for the general appearance and friendliness.
It
has proved to be the right decision for my sister and I, the staff are very caring and the manager very approachable. I pop in at a variety of times and have always been happy with the way the residents are treated, with respect and dignity.
There are lots of activities and trips out which I know mum really appreciates.
